Pasta Express absolutely nailed this aglio olio. Moist, glossy and packed with flavour — every bite lets you actually taste the olive oil, garlic, pepper and salt coming together perfectly. Simple dish, but executed properly. Nothing dry, nothing bland. It’s become one of those places I always look forward to visiting whenever I’m passing by Venue Residences — almost a compulsory meal stop at this point. Swensen’s and Pizza Hut should be taking notes. Their aglio olio sometimes feels like an afterthought, while Pasta Express just served a reminder of what a proper aglio olio is supposed to taste like. 🍝🔥

Ordered from grab & arrived as warm The aglio olio pasta was aromatic, tossed in fragrant olive oil and garlic with just the right touch of chili. The addition of meatballs and minced beef made it hearty and satisfying, while the olives added a nice salty contrast that balanced the flavors.

Love the cream sauce pasta as it’s so flavourful and fragrant with generous slices of garlic perfectly mixed into the sauce. It’s paired very well with the smoked duck, mushrooms, and sous vide egg I chose. Great system of choosing the ingredients yourself and sauce base too. A filling and satisfying meal I would always get.

recommend their bolognese or aglio olio (they pan fry the garlic pieces til charred 💯 super flavorful!) for the portion, they are really generous at the price point 👍 would be nice to see them come out with more standard combo creations and options! I love their Aglio Olio and the option to customize what I want to add to my pasta. If you enjoy a spicy Aglio Olio, I recommend letting the staff know to add extra chili for an additional kick. Their service is also fast and efficient!
