The fried oyster here is actually quite well cooked—the starch has a nice char while staying slightly moist. However, everything else is a letdown. The oysters are very small and don't taste fresh. The owner is incredibly rude. When you ask for the $8 small portion, he immediately tries to push the $10 one. When you correct him, he gives you a look of pure despise. The portion size for $8 is tiny and definitely not worth the price. It’s a shame because the cooking technique is a 4-5 star level, but the poor service and stingy portions make it hard to even justify 1 star. Avoid unless you enjoy being overcharged and insulted.
View on GoogleI have been to this coffeeshop many times but this is the first time I tried eating at this stall. The satay beehoon is pretty good and I asked for more peanut sauce after eating ⅔ portion of it as I felt it was a bit dry and the guy obliged by giving me another scoop of peanut satay gravy. The oyster omelette tasted good in term of savouriness but instead of crispy it was a little dry and hard. Overall it is passable. Will come by again.
View on GoogleDecent satay Bee Hoon, generous ingredient. Satay gravy is good, delicious. Oyster is average. Not crisp enough, can afford more oysters.
View on GoogleI had the oyster egg and wasn’t exactly disappointed just didn’t hit the expectations I had. They had very little oyster in the eggs and I order the largest also their oyster size is so small. Even though their oyster portions are little they make it up with their egg , not too starchy and the seasoning hit the right spot. On a good note they close at 1230am on weekends (including friday)
View on GoogleOrdered Satay Bee Hoon $8 portion and add $2 for addional ingredients and bee hoon. But served to me the size like no added any ingredients at all. Ordered the porridge beside this stall and still got the cheek to ask me "I thought I gave you alot and you still order?". Boosted around saying his sales order is higher than those popular food stalls around. Since you like to boost around with your pathetic amount of food serving plus your attitude. If you dont have the correct attitude in this line, please dont disgrace yourself more and let other potential food seller to try. This 1 star review is here for you. So many good food choices outside this kopitiam like the chicken rice or bah chor mee. Avoid this stall at all cost in this kopitiam. Try the macoroni, porridge or kway chup instead of this stall.
