House sake is very good for the price! There's a selection of other sake and 2 choices of beers on tap too. Food complements the drinks well, and very tasty even if not drinking. Very impressed by the katsu don (curry or not). The katsu is really very flavourful and not overly-fried. Also had their salmon mentaiko pasta - it smells (and tastes) so good that I forgot to take a picture of it being starting on it. The serving size for the mains are generous and only had room for 2 skewers. Both the chicken balls and the pork belly are good and will definitely so going back to try the others. Staff are friendly and accommodating too. Overall great experience.

Well marinated and crispy pork cutlet. Tender chicken cutlet. Fragrant jap curry. Great tasting sake. Ordered the lunch sets that came with a drink and soup. Very big portions. Really value for money. Going back for more.

pork katsu was thick and crunchy on the outside, curry was flavourful and too sweet, ingredients in the curry were melts in the mouth too. soba noodles were firm and springy, sauce was light yet flavourful. paired well with spring onions and seaweed. truffle fries were evenly coated without being too overpowering, no oil residue from the fry too. portions were reasonable for the price paid, will come back at night to try their skewers menu

A little gem of a Japanese bistro! Had lunch there with my family and everyone loved it. Set lunches were priced reasonably and portions were very generous. Place was clean, comfortable with nice ambience. Worth a visit if you haven’t!
