Yu Cun is one of my go-to places whenever I’m craving chicken wings and fish head curry. The fried chicken wings are consistently one of the best around ! crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and somehow always hitting the spot no matter how many times I come back. Their signature claypot fish head curry is another must-order. The curry is rich, fragrant, and incredibly satisfying with a bowl of rice. Every visit feels like comfort food done right. What I appreciate most is the consistency. The food quality has remained reliable over the years, which is probably why the place is almost always packed. Despite the crowds, I’ve rarely had trouble finding a table as the turnover is surprisingly fast and the staff keep things moving efficiently. If you’re looking for a no-frills, dependable spot that delivers every time, Yu Cun is one of those places that never disappoints. Definitely a “hit the spot” kind of restaurant that keeps me coming back. 🍛🍗👍

Signature Curry Fish Head: Gravy is thicc and 🌶️ spicy! We shared for 2 pax and is just nice. $38.00 Cordyceps Chicken with Chicken Essence for the kids and it was decent. $26.xx Ice lemon Tea: $3 each. Had lemon slices. I can see why it's popular. Do note that the downside is roadside 🅿️ parking is very limited here.

Always wanted to try but usually there is a crowd. Went early on Friday evening and manage to get seats. Curry fish head was good but fish meat portion could be better ( Fish head was halve) . Price have increase to $42 for the fish. Tried the lemongrass pork and it was crispy and tasty. Overall cost $80 + for 2 for 2 dishes, rice and drink . A little pricey for the quantity. Parking can be challenging as there are limited carparks.

Solid lunch here. The curry fish head was fresh and flavorful, not fishy at all. Rest of the dishes were well cooked too. Would come back again.

This place is overrated. Maybe I should have tried the fish head curry, but the two dishes we ordered at about $50 per person were overloaded with sugar and 味精. The pepper crab was overly sweet and heavily loaded with 味精. Parking was difficult to find, and the wait for the food was frustrating — 40 minutes for the first dish, followed by another 15–20 minutes for the second. We arrived at 6pm and still had to share an outdoor table with another two diners because there were no available tables left. Despite paying a service charge, the level of service did not justify it. Overall, it was not a satisfying dining experience, and I won’t be returning.
