Had a wonderful dining experience at Warung Ijo! The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic Indonesian flavours and generous portions. Every dish was freshly prepared and full of flavour. The homemade cendol and avocado smoothie were especially memorable. A special mention goes to their homemade Cabe Ijo (green sambal)—it's incredibly fragrant, fresh, and packed with authentic Indonesian flavours. It has just the right amount of heat and pairs perfectly with the lemak rice. It's definitely a must-try and one of the highlights of the meal! The service was equally impressive. The staff were warm, attentive, and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. They were happy to recommend dishes and made sure we had a great dining experience. Highly recommended if you're looking for authentic vegetarian Indonesian cuisine with excellent service. We'll definitely be back! 💚🌶️🍽️
View on GoogleI had lunch on a saturday here, around 1pm. The outside area was full but the inside was pretty empty. It was warm inside, no wonder. My aunt and i ordered the nasi padang with lemak rice and sayur lodeh, as well as lime juice. Nasi padang (15.50) arrived incredibly fast, so i think everything was prepared well in advance and therefore was not hot. The lion's mane rendang was very tasty. The fritter and sambal egg were okay. Tofu was abit of a letdown as it barely had any flavour. I wish there was more of a spicy kick to the dish. The sayur lodeh was the best part of the dish, with a thick creamy sauce and well cooked veggies. My aunt really loved her bowl of sayur lodeh (11.90) with the rice cakes. The lime juice (4.9) was alright, pretty pricey for a small glass and lots of ice.... Overall the food was pretty nice but pricey. I just wish it was served piping hot. And that there was more sambal spice. Cutlery is self service and kecap manis is provided. Service was okay.
View on GoogleThe food was delicious. I ordered the nasi padang. The rendang curry in it was just perfect, one of the best curries i have ever had, and thats me an Indian saying it. Absolutely loved it. A must try shop for all vegetarians out there, they have a menu that will spoil you with choices. The guy serving the food was very welcoming and professional. will definitely be back.
View on GoogleVisited Warung Ijo with my family for dinner and had an amazing time. Staff were warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. Because we were early and it was not busy yet, one of their staff Vivian took the time to explain their extensive menu and recommended new specials and crowd favourites. We are regretfully not big eaters and only tried a handful of dishes, but everything we had was fantastic. I would highly recommend the Singkong Santan, Sambal King, Mee Goreng and their new monthly special, Rendang Sugarcane Flower and Tofu. The sugarcane flower was something that really blew us away, and the staff/owners(?) revealed that they specially sourced it from Batam and it highly depends on availability. My parents are big cendol fans, naturally we had to get some since it was available on the menu. Vivian revealed that the red bean and cendol jelly were house-made, and we were really satisfied with the cendol as the closer. Will definitely be back to try more tasty dishes!
View on GoogleNice food, cosy place, welcoming staff. As someone who loves Indonesian food, this place serves really amazing vegetarian Indo food! Portion is just right, food tastes above my expectations, and they have many special Indonesian dishes that’s quite hard to find normally. Lunch menu quite worth also. Must try their petai dishes if you love petai, very well cooked 😋 (plus point, they do not charge GST and service charge!)
