Every dish was simply comforting and perfect! My uncle usually has a poor appetite cos of health issues, but he enjoyed the meal so much that he even had multiple servings! The black bean fish is the best that I have ever eaten. Chye Poh omelette, pork floss egg plant, Chinese spinach… there was even a pot of sweet potato porridge for each table! We thought we over ordered at first, but every dish was so good that we finished everything. We only have a picture of our empty plates and the red pot of porridge 🤭 Certainly coming back! Highly recommended!!!

Oasis Taiwan Porridge is located at the level 1 of Grantral Mall. The overall dishes here are below average. I ordered 10 dishes and not even one dish can create positive impression. I think there are many Teochew porridge stalls have better quality than here. I don’t think I will visit this restaurant again.

The star ought to be the sweet potato porridge. Right balance of the sweetness of the potato with the cloudy porridge broth. Other ingredients are so so. Braised pork was dry Balachan kangkong was not spicy Cockles are fresh Chai po omelette regularly oily Portions are pretty big. Environment was good and spacious. Highly recommend if you have old folks. Very good wheelchair access. A space with reasonably tasty food and great for family gatherings.

Didn't order the porridge, I guess it always come with porridge cause the restaurant called porridge. The porridge has sweet potato inside. Taste was good, omelette itself was good, chicken was ok but the sauce was good. Sweet and sour pork was crispy, recommended. Fish was good but a little bit expensive, compared to the rest.

Really old school cooking! Been around for decades! Used to go to their original outlet at Kallang River, then to Toa Payoh Garden and to their current location! Sweet potato porridge is same old! Nice and piping hot! The black bean sauce promfret was as good! Huge fish! Place was crowded but they still served pretty fast! Today we had omelette with silver fish! It's yummy! The fried prawn roll was delicious! What a satisfying meal! 😀
