A little overrated, in my opinion. Nasi Padang is my childhood comfort food. Having grown up in a Malay kampong, these flavours mean much more than just food to me. They remind me of home-cooked dishes lovingly prepared by talented makciks who knew exactly what you liked and would always add a little extra to your plate. Given all the online hype, I came with high expectations when I visited Muslim Delights. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to them. Some of the dishes were quite lukewarm, the begedil was a little too salty for my taste, and I found the rice slightly hard. The fried chicken wing was decent, while the beef rendang stood out, it was tender and flavourful. What I did appreciate was the down-to-earth, everyday-neighbourhood feel of the place n efficient service. Overall, it was a decent meal, but not one that I would personally rave about.

Had a simple nasi padang set with tempe kicap, sayur lodeh, beef rendang and a sunny side up. The standout is definitely the tempe kicap—fried just right with crispy edges while still soft inside. The sweet soy sauce coats everything nicely without being cloying, quite close to what you’d expect from a more authentic version. Rendang portion is generous with a few solid chunks, done in a more Malay-style padang—slightly milder, coconut-forward gravy rather than heavy spices. The sayur lodeh is on the lighter side and doesn’t add much to the overall flavour. Sambal brings things back though—decent heat with a slight limey tang that cuts through the richness. Overall, a decent, comforting plate, with the tempe being the highlight.

There's a reason why this place is always packed during lunchtime, food is consistently delicious. They work like a well-oiled machine, queues are well managed and macik runs the show like a boss. The fried chicken wing is nice, they have a lot of the crispy bits!

Food was good but not to my taste. Tried the Beef and fried chicken. Both lack seasoning. The veggies and tofu were good though.

Tried Muslim Delights and really enjoyed it! The food portions are generous and definitely worth the price, which is quite reasonable. The stall has a nice, chill ambience, perfect if you come slightly after lunch hours when it’s not too crowded. One small downside is that parking can be tricky since there are limited slots around the area, but if you’re willing to walk a little, it’s worth it for the good food. Overall, a great spot I’d recommend!
