Quite a good variety of dishes at this food court. We patronised the Malaysian food stall, the roasted meat stall, the yong tau foo stall and the drinks stall. The food and the drinks are good. We like the prawn dumpling from the roasted meat stall very much and finished the dish before I had the chance to snap a picture. The coffee here is decent. The only set back here is that it was very noisy during lunch time.
View on GoogleTried the wonton noodles from the roast meats store and it was quite tasty - old school style with nice sauces and pork lard. The char siu was good though I thought it was too sweet. Drinks were weak and rather expensive, from the stall around the corner.
View on GoogleWas order the dried chilli ban mee at this stall called Ali's Ban Mian. They added 2 fried wantons, very little minced meat & 1 crab stick in the ban mee, and it cost $6.50 for small bowl. I'm not really a picky eater, but this dish was terrible! The fried wantons were lao hong, and the crab stick taste funny, not sure is it overnight, the noodle are tasteless, not the type of Malaysian chilli ban mee, its juz a chilli+ban mee....its actually not worth 1 star, its 0 star!
View on GoogleUnfortunately the ban mian stall is not listed on google maps yet but their standard is really trash. Wasn’t about to write a review but this is unacceptable. I got the chicken cutlet la mian for $6.50. They don’t even bother frying the stale cutlet again, just gave me some cold and soggy piece from a bowl that was probably left there since morning. Noodles taste fine, nothing spectacular but not bad. Also the size of the actual chicken haiss…
View on GoogleWas looking to put in a review for a new stall at this foodcourt but can't find them. The stall is called 'Freedom Desserts'. Not sure why they are not on Google Maps. Almost missed this gem! My family patronizes this foodcourt often and this is a new dessert stall just opened maybe few months ago. Used to be Gelato here. This dessert stall allows for custom desserts which maybe most people are not used to. We tried their standard Yam Milk Shaved Ice which came in Medium size. At $5.90, it may seem pricey, but it came with a lot of ingredients and they put in a lot of effort placing the ingredients, with great attention to detail. More importantly, the taste is very refined and delicate. It looks like ice kacang topped with Orh Nee, but has stuff like chewy tapioca mini nuggets, chendol jelly & popping boba. All very refreshing and light. Definitely worth a try! Stalls here have changed hands a bit and this stall ain't good with standing out or on Google, so don't miss trying it! Sure no regrets! I know I'll be back.
