Tried the buffet at Kushi Japanese Dining and honestly, it was disappointing. The sushi tasted like it came straight from the fridge — missing freshness, balance, and the expected flavour. Fried items weren’t crispy, grilled foods were just so-so, and the overall selection felt limited. On the positive side, the service staff were attentive and friendly, which I appreciated. I truly hope the restaurant can improve the quality of its dishes to match the warmth of its service.

Food and service is really good. The food is really really great value for the serving size and the flavour! 2nd time here and tried even more dishes... It's amazing how I have yet to find something I didn't like and I am particular! The fried stuff was super tasty and didn't feel oily at all. Miso soup was tasty and wasn't watered down. The oysters were massive and juicy and flavourful! Really enjoyed the food!

We first dined at Kushi at their previous location in 2022, and this was our second visit. We opted for the buffet, and honestly, we couldn’t try everything on the menu. We ended up reordering only our favourites. The food was just as good as I remembered. Every dish we ordered looked and tasted delicious. That said, we’d like to highlight a couple of points. The grilled saba had quite a lot of bones, and we spent a fair bit of time picking them out. We also felt that the prawn tempura portions were smaller compared to our previous visit. We were really impressed by the tempura back then, and it was one of the main reasons we returned. Green tea is included in the buffet, and we were also served ice cream at the end of the meal. Service was excellent!

Great place for anyone who enjoys trying a wide variety of dishes in small portions. The buffet offers a good selection, and everything we ordered was served hot and within a reasonable time. The service was excellent—every staff member was attentive and kept refilling our tea without us having to ask repeatedly, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The grilled chicken thighs were definitely the highlight of the meal and my favourite dish of the day, which is highly recommended! They also gave me a complimentary slice of birthday cake to celebrate my birthday and full of birthday wishes. Overall, a great dining experience, and I'll definitely be back!

Visited Kushi Japanese Dining for their dinner buffet with my sister and we had such a satisfying meal! The variety was really extensive, from fresh sashimi and sushi to grilled dishes, tempura and cooked items. The sashimi cuts were thick and fresh, which we really enjoyed. Service staff were attentive and the food came quite fast. The restaurant also had a lively and cosy atmosphere, making it great for family meals or catch-ups with friends. Definitely worth visiting if you’re craving a Japanese buffet with lots of variety!
