The chee cheong fun is smooth and substantial. The sauce is not overly salty and it adds a nice savoury touch. The chilli is just nice, not overly spicy. Without the chilli, the chee cheong fun is savoury but light. With the chili, it adds a depth of umami. The hawker centre itself is spacious and clean and airy. The ventilation is good and I did not even sweat after spending 30 minutes here. Will definitely come back again

Cheung fun are made to order so they tasted fresh, light & were so thin and silky smooth. The different colored rice rolls had its own unique flavour but as taste is subtle it’s really more eye candy. This just adds to the overall enjoyment as the flavours from the soy sauce and homemade chilli sauce is what makes grandpa’s rice rolls special. Unlike many hawker stalls that skimp on fresh vegetables, grandpa’s lettuce & egg rice rolls are generously layered and makes a satisfying meal. The standard prawn rolls had many decent sized prawns and tasted delicious. No wait for tables on a weekday (unlike weekends bfast). But waiting time can be up to 10 mins as the order is freshly made. No need to hang around as a buzzer is given and you collect when it goes off.

Silky Hong Kong style steamed rice rolls (cheong fun) with comparable restaurant standards but priced at as affordable as $4 to $5 (on average). What a steal! We got the classics - prawns and char siew cheong fun. Remember to get the chilli, the fragrant spicy kick goes so well with the cheong fun. Sadly, we only got to try the original cheong fun as the dragonfruit and spinach ones were not available when we visited. Do be patient and kind with your words as uncle has to make the cheong fun and take order and collect money all on his own. Uncle was so nice and was even apologetic for the long wait when he serves the customers.

Silky smooth chee cheung fun. I chose the egg & veg option ($4.90) which was light and flavourful !! uncle makes it fresh on the spot too :>

Yes! Yes! Yes! Light and silky home made Cheung Fan... The generous chunks of char siew were well flavoured, juicy and not to sweet as to over power the delicate Cheung Fan and thin soya sauce & sesame drizzle... BUT... the dried prawn (hai bee) chili was, to me, absolutely banging!!! Generous with the dried prawn, perfectly fried dry chili and balanced well with just enough sugar... I asked the kind owners if I could buy some to take home and they gladly obliged. Friendly, clean and delicious! Well done, thank you and keep up the good work!
