Celebrated mum's birthday with shou tao. Didn't take photos of the food as we finished it up quickly. The duck was crispy, highly recommended. Longevity buns were displayed nicely. The dessert we had was fragrant and had the right sweetness. Service staff were patient and friendly. And Thank you May Lee for making our dining experience wholesome and great!
View on Google⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a wonderful dinner at East Treasure Chinese Restaurant (Toa Payoh) tonight! It was my first time trying Black Pepper Crab, and it was an unforgettable experience. The aroma was amazing, and the pepper sauce was rich, fragrant, and absolutely delicious. The crab was fresh, sweet, and cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed the Tofu with Eggplant and Prawns, which was full of flavour with silky tofu, tender eggplant, and fresh prawns. For dessert, the Mango Sago with Coconut Jelly & Ice Cream was refreshing and creamy, while the Red Bean Pancake was crispy and delicious. A special thank you to Manager May Lim for her warm hospitality and excellent service. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were outstanding. My first pepper crab experience couldn’t have been better. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
View on GoogleLocated at Toa Payoh Central and part of HDB hub. Reasonablly priced and unique dishes. The Aged Roasted duck and Stuffed Chicken were great. Wondering had the Aged Roasted Duck meat could be more tender till it could fall off the bone would definitely enhance the appeal of the dish. The stuff chicken was interesting and indeed left diners guessing which part of chicken and which part was something else. The Fried Pork with Lettuce was good especially it paired with Thai green seafood sauce. We were served by a bespectacled young man whom we never got his name. His attentive to over needs made the while evening a great experience!

View on GoogleOverall, food is ok. No surprise no shock. The tofu is quite unique. Soup tasted ok too. Can give the crispy kuay teow a miss, pure novelty and bland, not to mentioned there most of the clams are empty and there isnt any vegetables, not even beansprouts. Few pieces of the claypot pork is tough. Ambience wise, quite noisy as there is no padded wall to absorb noise. we had the counter seat and the light above is emitting alot of heat. Service wise, not bad. Though I wish one of the blue long sleeve shirt guy can have a mint to mask cirgarette breath. Complimentary lemongrass jelly is nice.
