Birthday dinner with wife. Quite many choices for vegetarian food. We ordered the KL noodle and the Olive fried rice. Strangely it came with a papanum. Overall the food was good and flavourful. The only downside is the KL noodle was the normal yellow noodle. Unlike the thick chewy texture. Spend $19. 06.01.26

View on GoogleHonestly, it's great to have a vegetarian casual dining place in Toa Payoh! Their dishes do have a home-taste, and they have an extensive selection of tze char dishes that will cater to non-veg eaters' palates. Hopefully, they can incorporate other plant-based protein options such as chickpeas, lentils, beans, etc. in their dishes!
View on GoogleFriendly staff, table and seats are also clean. Yummylicious food at D' life. I personally feel that laksa is too spicy for my liking and ingredients also seem lesser compared to Greendot laksa. Other than that, other dishes were cooked pretty well and we enjoy the food thoroughly.
View on GoogleWent on a Sunday evening. Ordered Assam mock fish, claypot cabbage, cereal tofu. Food: Really not bad. Not too salty, not too bland. Flavourful. Personally I like the cereal tofu. Ingenious combi. Service: Good service. Staff were pleasant and courteous. Atmosphere: The tables are a little too close. Else it's fine. Something unique is the utensils. There is poetry by Dufu on the bowl. (Pic) Will I go back again? Yes
