A small foodcourt tucked at Cluny road. Never came before. Parking not s problem. Food quality not s problem. Very cheap affordable drinks. Stunned. School level prices. Seats are cushioned and comfy. 3pm, still have a small crowd. Not empty. Bachor mee was good. Ingredients alot for $6. $5 might get you less. Noodle stall owner says price diff is due to ingredients only. Noodles no change. You get Drinks, Noodles, Chicken rice, Western and Seafood
View on GoogleMy first time here and I am very pleased and satisfied with the surrounding and food here. Aircon, ambience cosy, and the service staffs are very friendly, courtesy and helpful. Food extremely good and delicious too. I missed Botak Jones western food and finally today I have my favourite lamp chop and chicken chop. The meepok and laksa taste very look too. Give it a thump up. Strongly recommend this place.
View on GooglePet friendly and Pleasant place with various food stalls. There is Melben seafood, a noodle shop offering various local noodles, a Muslim rice stall, botak jones western food and a drink stall. It’s spacious and air conditioned with lots of seats indoors. Best of all, outdoors is pet friendly. It is also shaded and even at noon time it is not hot outdoors. Perfect for lunch after walking with your dog at Botanic Gardens.
View on GoogleSprouts, Cluny Road: No-frills garden glasshouse a few min walk away from World Heritage Site - The Botanic Gardens is packed, packed, packed. Those who yearn for affordable local eats flock here instead of the cafes at Botanic Gardens. Drinks are ridiculously cheap. There’s a fishball stall, the famous Botak Jones serving up Western fare and the famous Melben Seafood. The Muslim stall was closed on Hari Raya. Score a seat facing the plants – it’s a tranquil green dine. We did Botak Jones with higher price tags but hearty carb portions (if you opt for it). #eatstylishtravelstylish
View on GoogleCame here to Bean Sprout Food Court at around 6.30pm on a Friday evening—pretty crowded. It’s hidden inside the Botanic Gardens, right beside a car park. The place is nicely decorated, with big glass panels that let you enjoy the surrounding greenery while you eat. While queueing, I overheard an aunty calling her friend, telling her the food here is so good, especially the mee rebus—she said she’s never tried such a nice one before. After hearing that, how not to try? 😂 So yes, mee rebus it is. Price is slightly on the high side at $5, but the moment I collected the dish, I could already tell the ingredients were fresh and generous. Taste-wise, it hits the right balance of sweetness with the fragrance of prawn and curry powder. The noodles were cooked just right—not overdone, exactly how I like it. Now I totally understand the aunty’s claim… haha.
