Honest to goodness, it is our commitment to quality and artisanality in everything we offer to you and your little ones. Comfortable classics don't need to be overprocessed, think in-house sourdough, fresh pasta, and bakes.

Small Batch @ Botanic Gardens was a rather mixed experience. The concept is quite interesting, with a Build Your Own Board where you can pick different brunch items to put together your own meal. They also have a range of burgers, pasta and other café fare, and the location right next to Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden makes it a convenient stop after a walk around the Botanic Gardens. The space itself, however, was not particularly cosy to me. It felt quite exposed and casual, and the café can get warm and humid since it is essentially an open air setting. It is probably better suited for families with kids than a long, relaxing café catch up. Service was also slow during our visit, and they seemed visibly understaffed and short on manpower. This was disappointing considering the prices are on the steeper side. The coffee was pretty average and felt like an afterthought. Thankfully, the burger saved the day. It was easily the highlight of the meal and made the visit more worthwhile. Overall, there is potential with the interesting brunch concept and convenient garden location, but the service, ambience and drinks could definitely use more effort. Come for the food, especially the burgers, but perhaps keep your expectations for the overall café experience in check.

Decent place for brunch or lunch at Botanic Gardena. It is accessible via the Children's Garden entrance. It is non air-conditioned but has fans, so it may feel a little hot in the afternoon. They have a part of the menu that allows you to mix and match your platter.

Dined here with my family on a Saturday noon. Service was great - friendly polite staff, felt welcomed. Atmosphere was great as well. Pretty nature with good strong fan and ventilation on a hot sunny day. Food wise - tater tots/potatoes were perfect. Great taste. Would definitely visit here for it again. Berry banana smoothie - on the pricier side but taste was great as well and amount reasonable. Would order again. Pesto mushroom pasta - again on the pricier side since there was only literally mushrooms with the pasta. The pesto sauce was thick and almost great, lacking a little bit of seasoning. Salt seems to have been forgotten entirely which resulted in a slightly plain taste. The pasta itself was slightly overcooked, a little on the mushy/soft side. Mushrooms tasted great though. Overall verdict - Would visit again

Really enjoyed having Brunch here.. Inspite of the crowd at Botanic gardens we were lucky to get a table. So you can choose items from a list and make your own boards. Ordering is seamless on the phone. We ordered 2 boards.. I chose thyme and garlic mushrooms, scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, sourdough and avo smash. Every item was tastefully done. Chicken sausage was great. Crispy yet juicy inside. Sourdough was classic. My wife ordered feta and it was amazing ! Initial service was quick but our coffee orders took forever. So will give 4/5 for service. Tip - Avoid the Babycino and go for normal coffee.. Will come back for sure.

Pleasantly surprised to find this cafe inside Jacob Ballas Children Garden. Atmosphere is great for morning breakfast. The trellis certainly offer an Australian beach vibe, complemented by soothing and slightly upbeat background music. Spacious, breezy and super child-friendly, you can watch the children playing water from here. Food is tasty - you can build your own board with choice of bakery, eggs and other protein. Service is fantastic too!
