안녕 An Nyeong Korean Food is a very small and simple Korean food spot with only about 3–4 outdoor tables, giving it a casual takeaway-style atmosphere. The menu is compact but has a decent variety of Korean comfort food options like kimbap, cup bap, and tteokbokki I ordered the Tuna Mayo Cup Bap, which was decent and satisfying for a light meal. The portion was reasonable, and the flavours were simple and comforting
View on GoogleI found one of SG’s most authentic 김밥 spots just a stone’s throw from Botanic Gardens MRT 🇰🇷🍙 Quietly tucked away in Cluny Court (with a second outlet at 313 Somerset’s basement), An Nyeong stands out from the rest by not mass-prepping their food in advance. After taking my order, the staff headed straight into the kitchen to prepare everything fresh on the spot. When my 김밥 arrived, I was genuinely impressed that the 소불고기 inside was still warm. Even their 떡볶이 is only cooked upon order, which keeps the rice cakes chewy and prevents them from turning overly soft — something surprisingly rare in Singapore. Another thing worth mentioning is that the ingredients used across their dishes — including the meats and fish cakes — are halal-certified. While they’re not officially halal-certified as a restaurant, they’re definitely halal-friendly with no pork and no lard used. Every few minutes, I could hear the little GrabFood notification horn going off, which honestly says a lot about how popular they are even for deliveries 🚚. They usually get bulk orders from some offices and Korean churches as well~ Would highly recommend visiting if you’re craving comforting, home-style Korean food that tastes freshly made with care 🫶
View on GoogleTaste is decent but for $15.50, I would expect a roll with more protein (beef filling was not a lot) and maybe even a side of pickled radish that usually comes with a gimbap For reference, Ayo Kimbap at Star Vista serves this exact keto kimbap with sides, chicken Karaage and a drink for around the same price btw!
View on GoogleDishonest store. I ordered kimbap and rice cake from them and they charged me full price of both even though they have a combo of kimbap and rice cake at the side on the wall at a cheaper price. I only saw the combo price after I paid. They said they cannot change so I ended up paying a higher price. If a customer orders everything from the combo, you should be transparent and charge the combo price?
View on GoogleSolid dinner option, with vegetarian choices (vegan if you go with no egg). For those who can eat egg, you can keto-fy your kimbap by replacing rice with egg. Tofu bap is filling and solid, goes well with cool drinks after a long walk. Nice atmosphere in the evening Note that there aren’t many seats so you may want to take it to go and have it in the botanic gardens. Wild chickens may disturb your meal
