Morsels at Dempsey is a cozy restaurant with wonderful food and excellent service. The manager, Moses, was very attentive and warmly welcomed us when we arrived. We ordered the tasting menu, which felt similar to an omakase experience. Although one of the newer staff members seemed a little unsure when introducing the dishes, the lady chef personally came out to explain each dish to us, which made the experience feel very special. Every dish was unique, beautifully presented, and full of creative fusion flavours. It is definitely something you have to try for yourself to truly appreciate. Highly recommended!
View on GoogleWe had a team lunch at Morsels today and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The 4-course meal was thoughtfully curated, with each dish offering unique flavours and creative combinations that were both interesting and delicious. Every course was well-balanced and suited our group's tastes perfectly. Beyond the food, the service was exceptional. The staff were attentive, warm, and made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. It was a hearty and enjoyable lunch that left everyone satisfied and impressed. Thank you to the team at Morsels for the memorable dining experience. We look forward to returning again in the future!
View on GoogleCelebrated my husband’s birthday here and sad that I didn’t discover Morsels sooner. Nonetheless, I’m glad we eventually did and we enjoyed our experience here. We had the duck noodles, duck dumplings, grilled cauliflower, and grilled pork collar - all of which were great! I usually don’t enjoy duck but you almost wouldn’t realize that it’s there because they marinated it well. Pork collar was tender, flavorful, and charred well! Ambience was cosy and homely. Will definitely be back. Thank you also to Moses, who was very hospitable.
View on GoogleEnjoyed the 6 course tasting menu filled with local flavours. Cauilini, Uni Chawanmushi & Pulled Duck Dumpings were good. Some of the sauces a tad on the heavy side. Atmosphere was very warm & cosy.
View on GoogleNot recommended for folks on a budget. Even the set lunch at $50 had poor value for money. The mains were good, but the snack/appetiser/dessert was disappointing. Weird that the “express” set lunch has a lesser snack than the “normal” set, that distinction just seems so stingy and unnecessary. This wasn’t mentioned at all from the menu nor the waiter explaining.
