A delightful place to eat for dinner. It was not crowded and the service was very prompt. The place was clean and well kept. The food was served quite quickly on a Thursday late evening - the quality of the noodles was good, including the dumplings. The soup was super tasty! The pork chop was also done just right and was full of flavour. A pleasant dinner and I highly recommend this outlet. Thumbs up! Will be back for sure.
View on GoogleTried Tsui Wah at Clarke Quay Central. Nice and spacious dining ambience. Really enjoyed their beef brisket with roti prata — generous portions of tender beef and a fragrant, flavourful curry. The prata was a little too small. Egg tart is just normal. Their milk tea is also strong and fragrant, just the way I like it. Definitely a good place to visit if you’re craving authentic Hong Kong flavours! 🇭🇰
View on GoogleCraving a taste of a Hong Kong-style cha chaan teng, I decided to stop by this restaurant for lunch. For the two of us, we ordered the Tsui Wah Signature Pork Chop Bun and the Stir-fried Flat Rice Noodles with Beef as our mains. As there was a promotion on the egg tarts (buy three, get one free), we could not resist ordering four egg tarts to accompany our meal. The food was served within a short waiting time. I had high expectations for the Signature Pork Chop Bun, but unfortunately, it fell a little short. While the pork chop was tender, it was somewhat bland and lacked the depth of flavour I had anticipated. The Stir-fried Flat Rice Noodles with Beef, on the other hand, was the highlight of the meal. The noodles were fragrant with a distinct wok hei (breath of the wok), an essential characteristic of a well-executed Cantonese stir-fried dish. The beef was also tender and complemented the noodles well. The egg tarts were another reliable favourite. With their flaky pastry and smooth, fragrant egg custard filling, they have never disappointed me on any of my visits to this restaurant chain. Overall, while the signature pork chop bun did not quite live up to expectations, the stir-fried noodles and egg tarts more than made up for it, making for a satisfying lunch.
View on GoogleA reliable spot for a satisfying Hong Kong-style meal at a very reasonable price, especially considering its central Clarke Quay location. The pork chop breakfast was generous and well-cooked, the wonton noodles were springy with a flavourful broth, and the classic luncheon meat and egg noodles hit the spot. The milk tea was rich and silky, while the hot tea provided a nice balance to the meal. Good portions, efficient service and excellent value for money. Will gladly return when craving comfort food.
View on GoogleI recently visited Tsui Wah and had a satisfying meal. We ordered the steamed rice with BBQ pork and scrambled egg, as well as wontons with shrimp roe tossed noodles. The BBQ pork was tender and flavorful, paired nicely with the soft scrambled eggs over rice — a simple yet comforting combination. The wontons were plump and filled with juicy shrimp, and the tossed noodles had a nice texture with the added shrimp roe giving extra flavor and bite. Overall, the dishes were well-executed and gave a comforting Hong Kong-style dining experience. Service was efficient, and the food was served promptly. A reliable spot if you’re craving classic cha chaan teng favorites in Singapore! 🍜✨
