If you’re looking for a hearty, satisfying meal, ASTONS is definitely a solid choice. The portions are generous and incredibly filling—perfect for when those serious cravings hit. The highlight for me was the double up grilled chicken—juicy, well-seasoned, and absolutely worth ordering. Their coleslaw deserves a special mention too—refreshing, creamy, and a great balance to the mains. On the sides, the tater tots with mentaiko sauce were a pleasant surprise—crispy, addictive, and packed with flavour. Service was impressively fast and efficient, making the overall dining experience smooth and enjoyable. The restaurant’s unique decor also adds to the vibe, making it a nice spot for casual catch-ups and gatherings with friends or family.

The food, service, and view were all superb—I truly feel this is one of the most fantastic dining spots in the F&B scene. The ambience was cosy and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. We ordered two sets of the Super Combo, which included both steak and chicken. For the beef, we could choose the doneness (medium rare or well done), while the chicken came with a selection of 6–7 flavours based on their recommendations. We also added sides like chicken wings and nuggets. Having visited several times, I can say the food quality has been consistently good. What impressed me most during this visit was the customer service. A lady server attended to us promptly and handled everything professionally. Despite the manpower challenges in the F&B industry, she remained warm, attentive, and always had a smile. With the evening sunset and the riverside lights coming on, the entire dining experience felt complete. The combination of great food, excellent service, and a beautiful view easily earns this place a 5-star overall rating. Food Rating – Super Combo (4.5/5) The grilled chicken was perfectly done—juicy with a slight char. The beef (medium rare) was slightly on the dry side, but it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyable experience. I would definitely return again for another meal here. Sign off: 4 March 2026

What’s not to like about Aston’s? Always reliable and their grilled chicken chop along with the 2 sides just hits the spot every time I’m in need of some good old Western fare. Also, this particular branch has a good view too if you sit at the booths overlooking the river!

Aston's is one of those places I keep coming back to when I want a simple Western meal that never disappoints. The grilled chicken chop with two sides is always a solid pick, and it really does hit the spot. I also liked that the Central branch has a pleasant view if you manage to get one of the booths facing the river.

📍 ASTONS Specialities @ The Central, Singapore 🇸🇬 Dropped by here during lunch hour while around Clarke Quay area. The outlet was extremely crowded and noisy during peak timing, so the dining environment felt quite hectic. 🍽️ Food portion and pricing were reasonable, especially considering the central location. Portions were filling, and there was a good variety of grilled meats and sides to choose from, making it suitable for a casual meal. The chicken was tender and nicely grilled, while the sides were simple but satisfying. ⏱️ Despite the lunch crowd, service was still reasonably fast and food arrived without waiting too long. 💺 Seating is quite packed during peak lunch hours, and the noise level can get pretty high, so it may not be the best place if you prefer a quiet dining experience. 💡 Tips: ⏰ Avoid lunch peak hour if possible for a more comfortable meal 🛍️ Convenient location if you’re around Clarke Quay / The Central area 🍟 Decent value for money with generous portions ✨ Overall: A reliable casual dining spot for affordable western food, but expect a very noisy atmosphere during lunch crow
