Favourite place in Rob Quay, because the beef tartar is the best! The staff is super friendly, attentive and always remember you. It’s great for outdoor dining with your furry friends, and they have a range of on tap beer. Often have happy hour and def value for money. Their food is delicious and the portions are huge. Mussels there are great too! Atmosphere is chill but cozy, always have a lovely time there.
View on GoogleButtery and flavourful Mussels. It goes well with their milk butter Brioche. 1-for-1 draught beers before 7pm. Small bites go well with the beer. Attentive service staff makes your visit feel like inviting people for good drink at home. The cozy atmosphere is great for catchups over dinner and drinks.
View on Google3.3/5 (3/5 food; 5/5 service; 2/5 atmosphere) It's ok. Honestly, we came because of the mussels and belgian beer. The mussels were alright. Decent portion, however i felt that the seasoning was off, and the flavours over powered the mussels. We also had the cauliflower and asparagus, the seasoning was off also there (lack of salt). Asparagus under cooked. Unfortunately my partner got sick afterwards (we had to go straight home - we don't think it was the mussels as i was fine, but something was definitely off. Things can happen the vote is not influenced by that. I was a little dissapointed on the beer selection. It's your commercial trappist or lindeman. Was hoping for some lambic/geuze or other artisinal beers. We didnt stick around for desert (as partner was unwell). The atmosphere was also very strange - we stayed indoors, and the decor, lighting, seats all make it feel a little fast foodish. Maybe that's the point, but it did feel a little weird. There is an outside though which looked very nice and may have a totally different atmosphere.
View on GoogleRestaurant is not busy on a weekend evening. Friendly service, no dining limit which allows you to chill and relax. Good list of Belgium beer offered here. Wine list is pretty good too. Mussels is so so though (they used Australia mussels not the Dutch ones from Zeeland which I feel are better). The red colour ceiling lamps remind me of dining in a Dracula castle 😂. Overall it is ok place to meet up with friends.
View on GoogleFood 1 star. Fries is one of the bad ones. Not enough salt, not crispy. Brussels sprouts, bitter. Mussels with white wine is weird. The after taste is lingering (don’t really like it) Drinks 3 star. Blue moon is good. Tasty and easy to drink. The other dark beer, the foam is more than the beer. 😒
