I love how the kitchen gets the basics done right. Sure, it’s not exactly innovative, but those flavors have been thought through and presented beautifully. They have a decent-enough wine menu without being overboard on the prices. I can never resist the linguine with bottarga and clams. The grilled seafood platter comes with a proper fillet of seabass that is not an eeky dory or an unknown bland white fish of sorts. The servers are attentive and warm. I visit often because they welcome pets at their al fresco area and doesn’t shove us to a crap table when my dog comes along. I appreciate that loads.

The food is where the magic really happens. It’s honest, authentic Italian comfort food made with high-quality ingredients, executed to perfection. No over-complicated gimmicks, just pure, rich flavors. You absolutely cannot miss the food, Pasta /Pizza and all dishes.It was simply spectacular and tasted exactly like a trip to Italy. Even the desserts were a dream. D.O.P mozzarella and Bar is a true breath of fresh air in Singapore's dining scene. It offers exceptional food and brilliant service in a relaxed, stylish setting, all without being overly formal or pretentious. The value for money is excellent for the quality you get. I’ll definitely be making this my regular spot. A solid 5 stars!

As an Italian living away from my hometown for many years now, I have found a place that feels like home. Always coming to DOP for my favourite Pizza Mortadella, and hand made pasta. The hospitality of this place, great staff, owner and chef with a heart for cooking and generosity are all the aspects that make me want to keep coming back. If you’re not planning to go to Italy anytime soon, here’s Italy on the plate.

Over all the years since finding this place in 2018 I continually come back for the wonderful meal and the friendliest of atmosphere. Awesome food , great service, great value 27/7/2026 Update: this is now meepawk and my regular hangout for a laid-back and awesome Italian cuisine. The menu is simple but so well executed! Update: I frequent this awesome restaurant. The beef cheek ragu is so delicious! I switched it with my fav pasta - parpedelle! Ask for the superb chilli oil to go with!
