First time trying Viet Spice after walking past them at Boat Quay (opposite BK Coffeeshop) and seeing them on TikTok. Menu: Lunch Set S$13.90 Australian Beef Pho - can taste the toasted aromats and the bone that was used to boil the broth. Broth was light but yet flavoursome (did not request for fish sauce this round as wanted to properly enjoy this broth). - beef was tender to bite, fresh, not gamey with good beef flavour. Good healthy portion. Grilled Pork Belly - definitely can taste Vietnam, seasoning was spot on. Fish sauce, lemongrass, shallots and caramelisation, spot on for the smoky taste Vietnamese Ice Coffee - normal (Vietnamese standard) as wasn't dripped but pre-prepped (perhaps it's Set Lunch) but definitely using Vietnamese-roasted coffeebeans Environment is nice, cosy even (not exactly a very shop space), but definitely no pressure to eat and run off. Aircon is strong, very comfy for chilling. 3 wait staff and 2 kitchen staff (when I was eating here). Not sure if one of the wait staff is the lady boss, but very friendly and chatty. Overall price for Set Lunch Menu is very reasonable, considering the location. The ala-carte menu spread although not super extensive (spread is good considering the size of the establishment), but I did spot some of my faves. If only they can include Banh Xeo for their Set Lunch as well. 🤣 They've got Happy Hour Beer, 1 for 1 for 333 beer. Not sure if this is more worth it than their normal beer bucket. 🤔
View on GoogleSuch a lovely spot! The interior is beautifully designed and creates a warm, inviting atmosphere for a meal. Beyond the great decor, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful with recommendations. The Bun Cha was a standout—fresh, vibrant, and delicious. A perfect place for a date night or a catch-up with friends.
View on GoogleThe people here are so kind and friendly and the food is really amazing. Not expensive but outstanding flavors and good portion size. The pancakes were the best I ever had.
View on GoogleDecoration is quite signature. Food is above average level, nice. Staff are friendly. Surroundings are a bit noisy. Price is budget. Good Vietnamese restaurant to go for casual meals.
View on GoogleTruly a wonderful experience. The food was just great. Even as pure vegetarians, Amy, one of the staff, guided us really well with the food abd made adjustments in the dishes purely for our convenience. She was really sweet, kind, and smart whilst handling our preferences.
