You have to book this place if not the wait will be very long. If you come in big groups, you may also have to wait. Nonetheless, this is an exciting Thai food place with Michelin guide. Tastes authentic though slightly pricey. This place is crowded and fairly noisy almost on a daily basis. You can order in english or Thai if you have a Thai person with you. Note that spiciness is capped. They do not go beyond certain spiciness level if you like spicy.
View on GoogleOur favourite dishes were the mango salad, prawn cakes and fried rice. The pork neck was very also fragrant. I thought the pad thai and kangkong were very average though, and the prawn vermicelli wasnt to my personal taste (it reminded me a bit of hokkien mee but I prefer the drier black pepper version). DONT order the pork omelette it was extremely lame and a waste of money. Giving it 4 stars because you can tell the flavor of the dishes were elevated with herbs and spices, plus its a nicer ambiance than typical Thai restaurants, but im not sure if would keep returning. Price point is ok esp given it's Michelin. Note that you need to make reservations a few weeks in advance.
View on GoogleHad the Tom Yum Soup (coconut milk) , Fried Omelette, Fried Rice and deep fried pork belly. Thai Shrimp Paste fried rice is heavenly, probably the one of the best fried rice I've eaten so far. Deep fried pork belly has very good crunch and it's so addicting. Fried Omelette has a very strong egg smell and I loved it while the Tom Yum soup is rich amd creamy Overall the food is extremely delicious and I will be very willing to pay $35++ (per head) to eat here again. Service during dinner is good but it's hard to contact them unless you're at the restaurant. Highly recommend to Facebook Message or email if you need assistance.
View on GoogleDropped by Un-Yang-Kor-Dai Singapore on a Thursday afternoon after missing out on a reservation, and I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly things moved. Even with the late lunch rush, I was seated fairly quickly and the food arrived fast. The isaan flavours really stood out, especially the eggplant, which I’d happily order again. I was still thinking about the mango sticky rice when it was time to leave.
View on Google4⭐️ Had a pleasant dining experience at Un-Yang-Kor-Dai. We spent around $120 for 3 people with 4 main dishes and 1 dessert, which felt quite reasonable for a Michelin-recognized restaurant. What I liked most was that the food tasted clean and flavorful without the strong MSG feeling, which made the meal much more enjoyable. The dishes were well-prepared and nicely balanced overall. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable for a casual meal with family or friends. Would come back again to try more dishes next time.
