Interesting concept and vibe. Tried almost their whole menu, so some highlights here: the popular Soft shell crab with hokkaido scallop and crispy noodle tastes good but the crispiness is gone after drenched in the sauce. The dragon's claw is has the herbal taste but he crocodile claw is quite fatty and can get overwhelmed after a while. The truffle beef hor fun has deep fried noodles so it's crispy but the beef is quite chewy. The pineapple flaming beef is my favourite, the beef is very tender.
View on GoogleI recently had the pleasure of having lunch at The Dragon Chamber in Singapore, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The Chinese food here is truly delicious, with the Firecracker Chicken being a standout dish—crispy, spicy, and flavorful. I also loved their unique take on Mapo Tofu! The service was top-notch, and the den-like ambience offers a fun atmosphere. Highly recommended!
View on GoogleTucked just a street away from the riverside at Boat Quay, this place appears like an ordinary bar from the outside. However, open the fridge filled with drinks and, to your surprise, a path leads you into a hidden restaurant. The interior has a Chinese-inspired design and is somewhat dimly lit, creating an intimate atmosphere. The menu is extensive, but honestly, it was a bit overwhelming. We ended up asking the staff for recommendations based on our preferences. Each dish comes in generous portions, so it’s best to visit with a large group. A party of two might struggle to finish everything. Every dish is visually intriguing, offering a delightful blend of entertainment and flavor, making for a very enjoyable experience. If I had to make one suggestion, it would be to offer more conventional alcoholic beverages. The unique drinks were intriguing but unfamiliar, making it challenging to choose. The floating noodles, however, were a highlight. Just seeing them alone makes this place worth a visit.
View on GoogleThe food was mostly amazing. The truffle wagyu hor fun is a must try. The fried cabbage is very nice as well. The deco is very unique and had my family talking about it cos we had to enter via a ‘wine chiller’. The only complaint I had was that the music was a little too loud and noisy (we had an infant with us) but it’s really part of the atmosphere.
View on GoogleWould recommend their beef hor fun - It was really good. The beef was tender and juicy and the hor fun has the wok key taste that we are looking for. For the fried chicken, it was really spicy like what the other reviews mentioned. So be prepared to spit fire like a dragon if you are not used to spicy food. The staff service was 100/10 because they were super attentive to us and kept on checking on us to see if we were okay even though there was a huge group. At the end of the night, they even gave us a slice of oreo cheese cake and it was delicious.
