this is the go-to supper place after drinks in the area. nasi lemak with a very wide variety of dishes but very inconsistent quality. the sambal is overly salty too. the staff is friendly though so be sure to request for a freshly fried chicken piece.

Stopped by Mum's Nasi Lemak (辣死你妈) for breakfast and went for a mix of kway teow and noodles. To go with it, I added a fried chicken wing, fish fillet, and Ngoh Hiang. The highlight for me was definitely the sambal chilli. It leans towards the Chinese style rather than the sweeter Malay style, which I quite enjoyed. It had a good kick and complemented the noodles well. The sides were decent—the fried chicken wing was crispy enough, and the fish fillet and Ngoh Hiang were standard but satisfying additions to the meal. Overall, it was a good, decent breakfast. I'd rate the experience a solid 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4 stars for the tasty chilli. Worth a try if you're in the area!

I went to this place several times during my stay in Singapore because it was super well located, it offered different alternatives of vegetables and proteins (eggs, tofu, fish, meat) and it's cheaper than most of the restaurants close by. The owner is super nice and the food is well cooked. For someone who likes simple things, I found this place just perfect!

One of my most disappointed meals in Singapore. I tried to order some different foods and got treated in a very unfriendly way. The chicken is re-fried to heat it up and was super greasy and had lots of batter and bearly any meat. The curry was okey though.

Well well well… if you are looking for affordable meal near clarke quay, this is the perfect place. ( Not for the picky ones)😉 The dishes cost 3$, 4$ to 5$ (Singaporean Dollar). And for me the dish that they served us was really tasty! 😋 I think it’s worth to visit! I recommend this place, if you are looking for cheap but delicious food. They have so many options from the menu so you can also mix and match, whatever dish you prefer. We are a budget travellers so instead of dining to a fancy restaurant around Clarke Quay, we decided to dine in this place because first we have to consider our budget. We were so happy because it is a budget-friendly restaurant and the food was so delicious! Recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️ -Sheena
