Came here for dinner after hearing some great reviews from them. We ordered the 12 skewers that included their ‘star’ item - chicken liver balls, chicken heart. We were a little apprensive about them since we don’t really eat animal innards. Decided to be brave and give them a try. Boy, did we made the right decision. They were awesome! Especially, the chicken thigh with leek and bacon with mushroom, they were super succulent, with juices oozing as we bit into them. Service was excellent, and ambience was fantastic too! Definitely will return to try more of their dishes!
View on GoogleMy Japanese girlfriend recommended this place and it was a good recommendation. The yakitori was a very good and nice portion, especially the pork belly and chicken ball. The dashi omelette definitely my favorite dish of the night, it tasted very good and savory. A must-order! Will be back again for sure
View on GoogleIt was a Friday, we didn’t have any reservation booking despite it was fully booked and the lady manager was really nice to allow us in for an hour plus! We love the tartar sauce fried chicken and unagi very much. Felt like the menu could have more options in future, it’s mainly chicken and pork... ambience was pretty nice, outdoor seats allow you to have great river view and able to see MBS area. The ladies staff are very polite and friendly! Felt kind of homely having some yakitori and sake here.
View on GooglePrice was higher side, but about the right price in Singapore. Not all the food but some were really good I like. Their service was almost the same as seen in Japan, and of course friendly and prompt. Noted the time of the dishes were served would be really long and some dishes are missed being served during peak time. I’m not sure whether it was due to the COVID19 situation or not, but a bit disappointing many kinds of skewers, their signature dishes were out of stock too early, letting us feel it was better to have ordered in advance. One point I don’t recommend about their dishes was dishes using mentai sauce. That sauce was fishy...not sure whether it was accidental that day. Recommendable to make a reservation in advance, then outside seat is good, whew you can enjoy good night view of Marina Bay Sands.
View on GoogleVisited on a friday evening with reservations made the day before. Overall a pleasant experience and ambience, though the food portion was much tinier than we expected given the price point. I guess we were paying for the location la haha. But the food was mediocre too. Nice place to chill but maybe fill yourself somewhere else 🫢
