Been here twice - both for chef takeovers and both times the food really IMPRESSED. The atmosphere was great too, really windy, good music, and the staff is so nice. They’ll recommend dishes they think we’d enjoy, and were very attentive with refilling our drinks and clearing our plates. 10/10 would come back.
View on GoogleWe came to Eat Sum Thing for their popup, and the food was really creative and delicious. The experience was like fine-dining food but at a bar, casual but really yummy. Drinks were affordable too, especially during happy hour. Definitely recommend paying a visit!
View on GoogleGreat dinner at eat sum thing. We went there with the intention of trying out their prawn noodles but unfortunately it was unavailable. Luckily, we stay for the other items. The crab toastand the chicken were good but for me, the highlight of the dinner is the Caesar salad which tastes nothing like it. The grilled lettuce with many different layers of sauces is quite a sensory experience.
View on GoogleRepeat visits (3 and counting) to this place because of the great food and ambience. Hooked on the baba ganoush, chicken kaarage and mac&cheese balls and will repeat order as starters. Each dish features handmade, flavourful sauces /dips/batter that are absolute magic. The menu of small things make for excellent tapas sized bites that our group paired w drinks and good conversation. Over past 3 trips I’ve ordered the salmon brioche, and mackerel nuggets too. Other big things I’ve tried are the juicy wagyu ramly burger and orchazuke halibut shown in pics. Definitely not the usual tourist trap along Boat Quay. Looking forward to try the rest of the menu
View on GooglePleasantly surprised by the food. There were interesting options on the menu, and I felt that what we ordered was done well. I particularly enjoyed the portobello mushroom dashi seasoning that came with the umami fries. The grilled hispi cabbage was pretty good too.
