Cute. Cozy. Atmosphere. Personal touch can be tasted with every bite. I wanted to feel like I’m in Vietnam while enjoying authentic cuisine. Let me start by saying everything was exceptionally delicious. a true labor of love. The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff, especially Hoang Viet, were attentive, friendly, and happy to provide recommendations, and food was made fresh to order. If you’re looking for something tasty and authentic, this is the spot.
View on GoogleI walked past Co Chung, noticed they had quite a high rating on Google, and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the beef pho was just average. The broth lacked the depth and body I was hoping for. The beef betel leaf was especially disappointing. I expected soft, tender minced beef, but instead, there were tough veins and sinews that were difficult to chew through. Definitely not what I expected from the dish. We also asked if they could leave out the fried shallots, but they weren’t able to accommodate the request, which I found quite unusual. I hope the owner can take this feedback constructively and work on improving the quality and consistency of the dishes, as well as being more accommodating to simple customer requests. With some improvements, I believe the overall dining experience could be much better.
View on GoogleNice ambience and great portion for the Vietnamese dishes. Pho Bo (beef pho) is awesome and it's delicately prepared and also taste great. A must try. You can visit them for lunch and dinner if you are visiting in the area. Not the cheapest in town but would say it's acceptable. Drinks are a lil pricey. But everything else is great. And Minh Huy was excellent in serving us, attending to our needs in between.
View on GoogleDid a walk in on a busy weekday lunch. It was crowded but they accommodated the 2 of us at the door, an uncomfortable spot as the wait staff were walking in and out all the time. Ordered banh mi, pho and rolls. Banh Mi was ok, and beef pho and crispy rolls were super! Menu was comprehensive but we were short of time to try more or try dessert as they were so busy we could barely catch their attention to add in our order even though we were placed right at the door, which turned out disadvantaged. Best to book in advance or come earlier than 12pm for lunch.
View on GoogleThe food here was good, but the serving was slightly on the smaller side. The coffee was also slightly pricier, and full of ice. I got the beef pho and did thoroughly enjoy it, the soup was extremely flavorful. The atmosphere was nice and staff were good.
