Visited Ceres Cafe and had a pleasant experience. The café has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, making it a nice place to unwind. The staff were friendly throughout our visit. We ordered a hot chocolate, an iced mocha, and an iced white. The drinks were well made—the hot chocolate was rich and comforting, the iced mocha had a good balance of coffee and chocolate, and the iced white was smooth with a pleasant coffee aroma. The madeleines were the highlight. They had a lightly crisp exterior while remaining soft and fluffy inside, making them a perfect accompaniment to the drinks. Overall, a lovely café with a cosy ambience, good coffee, and delicious madeleines.

Me and my sister’s favourite cafe in sg 🙈🙈🙈 We love coming back to ceres so many times becos the ambiance is unmatched. The half the place is dimly lit and the other half near the window is warmly light with natural light. I love the contrast of the lighting which rly makes the place feel so cozy and comfortable. The songs that ceres plays is TOP TIERRRRR and rly add to the vibe of the place no joke, whoever is in charge of the playlist eats everytime, like they be playing SUFJAN STEVENS, MEN I TRUST, ETC. The place is smol but not cramped at all and a great place to do work as well (altho no plugs). Becos the atmosphere is set to be v calm and quiet, so it’s rarely noisy. The toilet is oso decorated to fit the aesthetic of the cafe which makes the whole place so cohesive NOW on to the food 😆😆 we LORVEEEEE getting the hot oat chai latte. We’re not oat milk drinkers but this is gooooood. And if u want a cold drink rec, I would suggest the ginger honey lemonade. It’s refreshing, not too sweet and the ginger taste adds a lil spice to it. Our favourite sandwich to get is the citrus ham. The combi of ham, butter orange marmalade and hot honey is sooo harmonious and delicious to eat. Sometimes I get the granola bowl too. Nothing special just a granola bowl hahaha but it satisfies me if I’m craving it. For desserts, I like the olive oil cake. The cake it self tastes like a plain simple sponge/ pound cake and then it is served with some cream n olive oil on the size. It’s a v simple cake but done nicely. Very light on the stomach ! We’ve tried the tiramisu before too. I think it could’ve been executed better. Some of the ladyfingers used were harder and drier than the others so I think it wasn’t soaked well. The alcohol in the tiramisu is slightly stronger than usual tiramisus I’ve tried so keep that in mind. Lastly, for the pudding it was quite thin in terms of the height of it HAHA. It’s not as big as the ones u would get in Japan kissatens. But taste wise was comparable. Overall, we love ceres haus, super simple foods and calming ambiance, rly nice staff, what more could u ask for !!!

Was introduced to this place because of the Hey Tea collaboration. Have to say it’s a nice cozy chick cafe. It slightly hidden at level 2 on the 3 floor shop lot along circular road. Due to the collab it’s a little busy so because it’s full we have to wait at the stairways until seats are available. Not sure if it’s the general setting, it’s a little dark but I saw picture other posted can be bright, so not sure if it’s the weather. The cold brew is good, smooth and no acidity. Wife said the ginger lemon honey is a bit bland. We had the hey tea collab parfait, which is more like yogurt with pink guava and a guava ham sandwich. Not too bad given it’s something seasonal, just the yogurt parfait is a little underwhelming. We did also order the salmon 02, smell good and taste ok. Just the choice of green for spinach is not so common in culinary. The spinach are the normal water spinach with stems cook and broiled. Stem is not so tender so I would expect those to be blended down or cook to softness. Still the taste is ok.

Nice chill atmosphere and was not crowded when i came on a saturday at 11am. However the menu selection was quite limited and the flat white was meh. Madeleines were fresh and hot out of the oven with a nice crisp skin. Also i found it funny how the bass of the speakers was so loud that my coffee was jumping to the beat of the song lol

The hype seems to have died down by now, which explains why when I walked in at 10.35am (cafe opens at 10.30), there were no other customers inside. It's intentionally dimly lit within and a little difficult to find for a first-time visitor, located on the second floor along the row of shophouses. I try not to take coffee on weekends, thus I ordered a hot chocolate. If I remember correctly, there is gst and serve charge in addition to the prices stated on the menu. The hot chocolate was okay, neither amazing nor poor. I would not return for it specifically. I do, however, like the feel of the space when it is not crowded. It is conducive enough to relax and read a book, or do some journaling as I saw another customer who came in after me did. The crowd starts streaming in at around 11am, but even as I left at 11.30am, I wouldn't say it's packed yet. I might make a return visit to try their food, such as the sandwich, which looked pretty appealing.
