Good Malay food. I didn't try the usual rendang/lontong/nasi lemak but more of the traditional Malay like tempeh, and on another day, sambal cockles. Portion is a bit small, but when they charged me 6 dollar plus for 4 dishes + rice, I understand why. Anyway I guess it's good to not overeat also. Healthy halal option if u choose the correct dishes.
View on GoogleThe Lotong is very nice that I can finished the Kuah/soup. The mee rebus also taste good. The kueh kueh also nice. Can try it.
View on GoogleThe quaint dining place with seatings is located inside of Fortune centre, just 2 mins walk from our hotel (Ibis at Bencoolen). Friendly staff (100% Muslim owned), friendly pricing (SGD$20.50 for our breakfast of 3). Will come again for sure! Pisang goreng was awesome too.
View on GoogleWalked past here a couple of times and have always wanted to try the nasi padang here. Came down on a sunday quit sometime only to find it closed. Happen to be running some errands nearby and decided to drop by for lunch. Reached here closed to 2pm. Surprised to still find a huge spread to choose from. Picked the paprik chicken, omelette, stirfry bittergourd as the black ink squid. Meal was SGD$9. The squid and bittergourd were my fav dishes. Price seems reasonable as i have choosen squid and chicken dishes. Staff were friendly and readily to offer their recommendation. Would dine here again if i have tp be around here.
View on GoogleSmacked in the Arts district in the City, please expect to pay the price for your food. I’m pleased to get a big bowl of Mee Soto with an add-on of begedil (potato croquette), such a warm and comforting bowl of Mee Soto with generous amounts of shredded chicken meat. To new patrons, just expect to pay for the price of Malay-Muslim food in the Arts district in the City. Don’t say there’s no heads up! 😉
