Had dinner at Standing Sushi Bar (Odeon 331) with a large group of relatives (more than 10 of us), and despite having multiple orders to manage, the service was smooth and efficient throughout the evening. A special shoutout to Mary for her exceptional service. She was friendly, attentive, and handled our large group’s requests with patience and a smile, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, Mary! The restaurant has a bright, welcoming atmosphere with good lighting, making it a comfortable place to catch up with family and friends. While I personally felt that the food quality could be slightly better for the price point, we still had an enjoyable meal overall. Thank you to the team for accommodating our big gathering. We had a lovely evening and really appreciated the warm hospitality.

Visited Standing Sushi Bar for a Friday dinner using a Trust Card omakase birthday voucher and it was really value for money. The ingredients for omakase were fresh and delicious. We also topped up for the uni sushi which turned out to be a great choice. Overall, a satisfying and affordable sushi experience. Would come back again!

A must visit for the weekly salmon sashimi offer on Mondays. The staff recommended the monkfish liver (ankimo?), which has a unique flavour. You might want to try it in small amounts if you are not the adventurous type. Also, the chazuke with crispy fish skin was amazing. 😍 Ideal to bring along family and friends for a pleasant dining experience.

This omakase experience just transported me back to Japan! Incredibly fresh and absolutely oishii! The chef was exceptionally engaging and knowledgeable and took time to explain each ingredient in detail. Their house-blended soy sauce, infused with sake and vinegar elevated the flavours even more. A perfect sweet ending to the course with the imported melon, so juicy and refreshing!

Amazing food and service! Chef Hugo was very friendly and a well experienced chef. As this was our first omakase, he explained each fish's speciality and how they were prepared, making it easier to appreciate the sushi more. Would definitely come again and recommend to others! 👍
