The Sando was good, spam wasn’t salty which was what I feared. Creme brûlée matcha is more milky than expected, suitable for those who prefer less matcha taste. Wished it matcha was more intense and deeper in flavour. The onigiri though was disappointing.. husband was v upset as the seaweed was soft and rice was wet & soggy, making it difficult to enjoy the onigiri. Cinnamon latte was lacking dimension. Had the earl grey cheese cake for dessert, tasted great. Staff were polite and commendable.
View on GoogleCafe wasn’t entirely full during lunch time at 12pm, though I’d still recommend making a reservation. No one came to serve us or ask about our reservation upon arrival, as we simply found our names placed on the table ourselves. Had read reviews online mentioning poor service, but honestly the whole concept here seems to be minimal interaction. Everything was done online — scan QR code, order, and pay digitally. Food gets served with barely any interaction from the staff, though they did provide complimentary water. Food service was fast and accurate. Ordered the beef omurice and added a note requesting extra curry sauce, which they accommodated. Taste was on point — definitely one of the nicer beef omurice around. Beef was tender, while the egg was nicely cooked and creamy. Mont Blanc was also good, not overly sweet and quite balanced. Mentaiko tater tots were average. Would have preferred them to be crispier. Air-conditioning wasn’t very cold though. The cafe would have been much more comfortable if the temperature was cooler. onigiri sushi only available in the evening.
View on GoogleThe food looks great and tastes great too!! Hand rolls are quite a substantial size for breakfast, but maybe we’re not well trained how to eat them without getting our hands too oily. 😂 Just a small problem that won’t deter. Didnt quite like the matcha, I would say, go for coffee instead. Restaurant is no service and no gst!
View on GoogleA cozy aesthetic vibes cafe with creative fusion menu, budget-friendly and great friendly staff What we tried: breakfast onigiri > comforting combination of classic breakfast staples packed into a seaweed wrap. The savory spam paired with a soft, perfectly seasoned tamago egg creates a satistying bite chicken katsu onigiri > a nice crunch against the soft, seasoned rice. Because it is fried, it offers a heavier, more savory compared to the breakfast version, making it feel like a mini-meal on its own. • miso chicken alio oglio › rich garlic and olive oil base. The chicken is well-marinated and tender, making it a very flavorful upgrade to a classic pasta dish seaweed fries > crisp bite without being overly greasy.
View on GoogleFantastic meal at SKOSH Cafe! The beef omurice was rich and comforting, with a great balance of savory sauce and fluffy egg. The ebi scallop handroll was fresh and generously filled, a real standout. Chicken katsu curry don hit the spot too, crispy katsu with a well-balanced curry sauce. To finish, the Uji matcha latte was smooth and not overly sweet, real matcha flavor came through nicely. Great food, cozy vibes, and friendly service. Will definitely be back!
