They have a few different outlets and we tried the outlet at Bugis+. The Shanghai pan fried buns were nice even though it would have been good if they had put more soup inside. Do be careful when you eat the buns when they arrive cos it is steaming hot inside. What I really enjoyed was their Appetizers. We ordered the two meat and two vegetables combo. It was really tasty. The fish soup was excellent too if you don't mind tomato taste. The "dry" Dan Dan noodles turned out to be full of gravy. Definitely unlike other Dan Dan noodles that we are used to. Overall a good dining experience.

Tasty food, less oily n salty than d big brand opposite at d sister mall. Pork buns r good! Pork cutlet is freshly-cooked n served hot. Appetiser: chicken = bit dry. Condiments r good = chilli n vinegar. Can't taste d mushroom in d veg buns. Only 1 wait staff on duty n he's swift! Food is served by table. Let chey PayNow system as need to crop QR Code then bank app can recognise n process payment coz there r instructions with d QR Code generated by d same system. No pay, no order. Outlet is v small so seats r crammed. Won't b comfortable if full house. Suggest to dine during off-peak hours.

If you’re craving authentic Shanghainese comfort food, this spot does not disappoint! 😍😍😍 🥟 Their pan-fried buns (Sheng Jian Bao) are the highlight – perfectly golden on the outside, with juicy pork filling that bursts with rich, savoury gravy in every bite. 🍚 The seafood fried rice is another must-try: generously packed with fresh ingredients, served in a hearty portion that’s great for sharing. 🍜 We also loved the braised pork chop noodles – the meat was tender and flavourful, the noodles cooked al dente, and the soup hearty and warming, especially comforting on a chilly night. Having tried their other branches, we’re glad to find that the food here is just as consistently delicious. The only drawback is that the seating can feel a little squeezy, but the quality of the dishes more than makes up for it. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the mood for authentic Shanghai eats!

Authentic Shanghainese spot. The shepherd’s purse and pork wonton is a excellent; 8 big pieces and very filling. Really captures the traditional taste. Pan-Fried Buns and Xiao Long Bao were juicy, and the buns had a nice crispy base. However, the pork filling is too sweet for my liking. Service from the young guy was excellent. Efficient and friendly. Overall a solid choice for dumplings.

Me and my colleagues drop by this restaurant to eat as we still can get a table at peak dinner business hours. We ordered the signature juicy pan fried buns, fried rice with pork chops and a small wanton soup. Surprising, the juicy pan fried buns were really good but need to be careful as the juice will really shoot out if you bite too quickly. The fried rice was prepared with a good balance of flavors, and it complemented the chewy fried pork chops nicely.
