Queue wasn't too long but most things were already sold out. I was given a choice of mee rebus or tahu goreng. Tried their mee rebus and was pleasantly surprised. The gravy was rich, starch and sweet - the way I like it. Good and economical meal. Will come back in due course to try their Soto.
View on GoogleUPDATE: June 2026 They have increased prices quite a lot. Mee Soto now $5! And grown lazier. Now using unhealthy and unfriendly styrofoam plates and plastic cutlery. Food also deteriorated. I’ve downgraded them from my original 5 to 2 stars. Old review: My photos tell it all haha. I enjoyed my mee rebus added one more egg thoroughly. I don’t really like too thick kind of rebus. Esp some are so potato-ey or starchy. This stall sells just nice. I’ll be back to try other stuff for sure.
View on GoogleOne of my dad’s fave. The Soto Ayam broth is flavourful. I had it with nasi lontong which is soft and goes well with the soup. The tahu goreng is well fried with generous amount of sauce.
View on GoogleSaw this on socials and have been wanting to try it. Visited a few times prior and they were closed as they sold out before the closing hours. This time came to try on a weekend afternoon and there was not much of a wait as there were only 3 customers ahead of me. I ordered a mee rebus and a tahu goreng. Added a bergedil and the total cost was $8. Rather reasonable though the bergedil was smaller than the typical ones I have eaten. First I didn't like the flimsy styrofoam plates. Next I didn't like it that the plates were so oily wherever I tried to hold, and there were no trays to put 2 plates I had to hold a plate on each hand and both were so oily almost slipped out of my hands. First tried the mee rebus. I would say it was pretty decent and nothing much to fault. The only problem came with the tahu goreng. I felt it was one of the more inferior ones I have tried. The gravy was too watery to begin with, hence it doesn't have much flavours too. The tahu was also not of the best, it was cold and the texture was pretty hard, and the tahu itself had a sour taste not on the whole but on several pieces. It just turned out to be a very flimsy dish as well, usually you get like loads of beansprouts but this just covered the tahu in the dilute peanut sauce and randomly sprinkled some greens on it. Not sure if it was the sourness had a bit of stomach discomfort the next day. Would say the mee rebus is worth trying but the tahu goreng definitely has to be a miss. I hope it's just some one off incident and doesn't happen to other customers.
