I found the dim sum here to be fairly average in taste. The iced Chinese tea was quite disappointing, as it was almost colorless and lacked much flavor. Prices are on the higher side, especially considering that service charge and GST are added on top. Ordering is still done manually using a pen-and-paper menu, rather than through table service or a digital system. The seating arrangement is also quite cramped, making the dining experience feel a little uncomfortable. It was an okay experience, but I’m not sure if I would return

Hiding 10% serve fee+ 9% GST service charge without clear indication. It is not a authentic Hong Kong Dim Sum food places. Egg tarts are dry and not tasty. Kopi shop in the same food court with better food quality, it charges same price as it shows on the menu without any hiding cost.

Do not be fooled by the rundown appearance of this cafe—you will get some of the best dim sum in town here! It has above-average pricing, but it is completely justified because they use premium quality

Congruent to most evals/reviews, this dimsum stall is pretty lacklustre. tl;dr very average. Not even worth without GST/service charge. its quite sus that even yuen kee dumplings, diner shack fish soup which has more business doesnt even charge GST + service charge. Yet this stall does, and their food is pathetic. Here's the food that the fam ate: Steam Pork Siew Mai - $7.80 Beancurd Skin Roll - $5.00 Deep Fried Shrimp Dumpling - $6.00 Scallop Sausage XO Carrot Cake with $8.80 Fresh Mushroom Fried Ee-Fu Noodle - $12.80 Prawn Dumpling Soup - $7.80 Ice Cream Mango Pudding - $5.50 * 2 Yuan Yang $3.00 (Hot), Yuan Yang (Iced) = $3.50 * 2 SubTotal $69.80 The best thing out here was the yuanyang, pretty close to Yakun's, but u probably can pay a little more at yakun to get a large iced yuan yang. Mango Pudding dessert isnt the same as the conventional one the slurpy curdly slop with pomalo. It's a random circular disc-ed jelly. The worst and horribly priced was the ee-fu noodles. you'll probably top up 1-5 dollars more to get way better eefu noodles at candon paradise. [photoed] No XO sauce taste with carrot cake i think even swee choon with depreciating taste quality, tastes better than this.

Found this fuss-free spot, Hong Kong Dim Sum Shop, tucked away in Fortune Centre. It’s a great no-frills eatery for when the dim sum craving hits. We ordered a table full of food for 3 people, and the total bill came up to $53 (which included 3 cups of local hot milk tea at $3 each). The Good (Above Average): Crispy BBQ Pork Buns (Polo Buns): These were a highlight. The crusty "pineapple" top was sweet and crunchy, pairing well with the savoury char siew filling. Spicy Wontons in Chilli Oil: These were very appetizing. The vinegar and chili oil sauce had the right balance of sour and spicy. Steamed Chives & Prawn Dumplings: The translucent skin was chewy just right, and you could taste the freshness of the chives. Steamed Char Siew Bao: Classic fluffy buns with decent filling. The "Okay" / Misses: Chicken Feet: We ordered a serving (not pictured). The braising sauce was actually very flavourful, but texture-wise, it was a bit overcooked for my liking—meat was falling off the bone a little too easily. Egg Tarts: This was the only real letdown of the meal. The crust wasn't flaky enough and the custard lacked that smooth, eggy fragrance. I'd recommend skipping these. Verdict: A reliable spot for a casual dim sum fix in the Bugis/Bras Basah area. Most dishes are above average, just know what to order!
