A friend of mine brought me here for the Korean food. And I'm surprised that the dishes we had ordered and tried were quite authentic and pretty affordable in town area. People were rushing in at dinner time. It may get pretty crowded after 7pm. So please come early to get a table and seats. There were several dishes on the menu, and every meal included two side dishes which was the kimchi and seasoned anchovies which is my favourite. I love their Ginseng Chicken, half portion cost $11.50, and inside was filled with glutinous rice. The herbal soup was rich & aromatic while the chicken was so tender. Their tofu was served piping hot in stone pot, and was super hearty & flavourful too!
View on GoogleOne of the best value-for-money Korean spots in the city. The portions are generous and the flavours are spot on without being over-complicated. It’s my go-to for a quick, affordable, and satisfying lunch. Highly recommend the spicy pork and the soup dishes!
View on GoogleWorst service I’ve experienced. I came here feeling hungry before dinner, saw the crowd, and thought it would be a good place to eat. I was ready to order more and asked the staff a few simple questions about the menu — whether certain items were part of a set or à la carte. Instead of helping, he brushed me off with a poor attitude and repeatedly told me to “just look at the menu.” Completely uninterested, unhelpful, and frankly rude. Nobody owes him a living if he doesn’t feel like working here then quit. Honestly, they could have gotten more business from me — I was prepared to order a few more dishes. But the attitude and the way it was handled completely killed the appetite. The cashier/front staff is the first touchpoint of the business. If that experience is this negative, it doesn’t make people want to return or support the place. The food may be decent and cheap, and maybe that’s why it’s crowded, but service like this ruins the entire experience. or maybe because they got so many people supporting them they start to get cocky and get attitude. Definitely not a place I would return
View on GoogleHad the beef bulgogi set which quite a big portion. Would’ve appreciated more sauce over the beef as there were times where it felt dry, but still appetising nonetheless. The kimchi jiggae set was better! Definitely for those who love their spice.
View on GoogleDelicious and affordable Korean food in the area! Portions were decent and service was quick. It was pretty crowded when we visited during lunch time on a Saturday.
