Eu Kee Scissor Curry Rice never disappoints. The curry was thick, flavorful, and absolutely drenched the rice in the best way possible. The braised meats were soft and melt-in-your-mouth, and the crispy pork chop added a nice crunch. Generous portions, comforting flavors, and great value for money. One of those meals that leaves you full and happy. Will definitely be back for more! 🍛😋
View on GoogleHeard about Eleven Fingers from social media so I decided to give it a try. On first taste of the curry, is reminded me of the taste I had during my childhood days. Flavourful curry taste with a hint of spiciness (very light) and I pretty much like the taste. Ingredients were quite limited when I was there at 3pm, glad I went just before the queue was formed. The pork chop was a little salty for me, but overall it was a satisfied meal.
View on GoogleCompared to other Scissors Curry Rice where most have expanded their menu considerably through the years, this stall stay true to their roots by continuing offering limited but quality dishes that compliment their various curry gravy. However, their curry gravy disappoint - it's more gooey than usual, serving it warm would make a difference but they're lukewarm instead, makes me wonder did they actually turn on the burner beneath those big tubs of curries.
View on GoogleThis stall serves up a solid plate of Hainanese curry rice, making it an excellent option if you're in the Bugis area. A long-standing establishment, it consistently draws crowds during meal times. The signature experience comes from the rich, gooey curry sauce blending with the savory brown braised meat sauce, creating a delightfully messy, single-toned plate brimming with ingredients. For a true taste, make sure to at least get the crispy fried pork chop, the tender cabbage, and the melt-in-your-mouth braised pork belly.
View on GoogleOverall experience is fair and once is enough. Score : 5/10 The concoction consists of braised pork, vegetables, TaoPok (beancurd skin), egg asking for $5.50. Added pork chop and total $6.80. Qty of braised pork, cabbage and TaoPok can be more generous though. Enjoyed the fried egg with ‘hairlines’ a lot !! Verdict: There are better scissors cut Hainanese curry rice.
