Was craving for carrot cake and decided to try the fried carrot cake here. I ordered YuanYang (black & white). The waiting time was about 5-10mins as there's there others infront of me. Portion was really generous and I wasn't able to finish. My colleagues had to help :) The carrot cake was delicious and had a lot of egg in it. Only down side was a little too oily but that was alright. Price was $6 i personally felt might be a bit pricey. There's $5 option for carrot cake but it's not mixed is either black or white. Overall I enjoyed the carrot cake and will return for more.

Nothing against the cook just an honest review of the food. Fried oyster ($8) looks like a pile of gooey minced meat. White carrot cake ($5) has a taste texture of an otah. Picture for reference.

Amazing Oyster Omelette where you can really taste the wok hey aka char smell. Oysters are big and fresh too despite getting stir fried. However, I think I should have just ordered their white version of carrot cake as their black version is too sweet for my taste. Overall, it's a stall worth going to.

I feel that their char kueh is very ordinary and not one that I would crave for. Hardly any chai po in it. There are ways to frying char kueh, and certain ingredients or items need a certain amount of frying time. I feel as if, the hawker threw in all the items and fried them altogether. In fact, I took a little and threw away the rest.

Worth Trying. A tasty snack, good soy sauce flavour though no char or stir fry heat. Eggs added good body to the very soggy carrot cake which were in small pieces. Very cheap and worth having if you're craving something different and local. $5 Cash Only
