Reputed to be the best fried oyster in the city but not to my liking as it’s swimming in grease. The dish is flavourful and the chilly sauce is good; used to have to a long queue but is more manageable after 2nd Lock Down.
View on GoogleMy favourite fried oyster. Ate for many years already. Always order the medium portion and add oysters. Previously adding oysters was $2, they have increased it to $3 for some time now. Still making the same order. Their fried oyster is slightly wet. It is oily and greasy like how it should be. Uncle cooks and mix eggs in generously. Super love their version of fried oyster. Unfortunately, heard they will be retiring soon but no confirmed date yet. Will continue to support while they are still in business.
View on GoogleLady at the stall has an attitude. After waiting 30mins in line and finally reaching the front of the queue, I asked politely if I can place my order. The lady replied rudely "You will place the order when I asked you to". After a further 10 mins, I placed my order and told her my table number. She flew into a rage, staring at me and shaking her Rolex datejust in my face saying " I have not delivered food to tables for the last 7 years!" Ok I thought, since she's so snobbish, her food must be pretty good. When the oyster omelet came, I swear, it was soaking with oil, extremely salty with msg. I didnt finish the food and safe to say I don't think I will miss it. In summary, bad service and food quality.

Wanted to use Cdc but auntie said “uncle bathing inside, no time to scan, sorry ah girl, wah see already i also heart pain 😭)” so yes please pay cash guys🥹 really inspiring to see uncle just frying out orh luak fresh each batch non-stop & auntie standby his towel & beer lols. Tbh donno if my generation anyone can work to that extent & also as a couple just so much in tune 🫶 As much as the Orh Luak is 💯 damn good, wok hey max & the oysters are plump and fresh (go for $8!), just see the pioneer generation of hawker at work is an experience itself 🥰 (uncle been doing this since 9 years old & there since berseh hawker centre started). … writing this for the memories & also happy that they get to retire while they can!✨
View on GoogleLim’s Fried Oyster dishes out The Best plate of Oyster Omelette in the country, bar none. Even though their version isn’t the crispiest.. or the spiciest.. or with the largest oysters (tho very decent sizes).. uncle does use only very fresh and sweet oysters and then EVERYTHING just comes together perfectly on every plate.. and even their accompanying chilli sauce is wonderfully balanced in terms of tasty, savory, slight tinge of sour and spicy heat.. 10/10
