Overall, the taste was not really on point, except for the brown sugar rice cake, which tasted like a factory-made product (similar to what I’ve had at other Chinese restaurants before). The stir-fried pork with rice had more onions than pork slices, and the taste was a little bland. As for the sauerkraut fish, the flavor was not quite right either. The good thing is that the fish itself did not have a fishy taste. The portion size was acceptable, but overall the taste did not feel worth the price. One plus point is that the service staff were nice, friendly, and patient when answering our questions while we were ordering at the counter. I also felt a bit sorry for the young lady who served the food, as the dishes were generally quite heavy. At times she seemed to be struggling a little, and some of the dishes were placed on the table rather heavily, likely because the plates or containers were hot.

This place is so good! Their vine pepper crispy pork noodles are a must-try—packed with lots of veggies and super tasty. And don’t miss the huge braised chicken leg—it’s delicious and crazy cheap!

I ordered the extra spicy beef mi xian and the sour fish mi xian both are really tasty. I was expecting a super spicy experience with the extra spicy beef but the type of spiciness is kind of different, it’s spicy but not those kind of “straight on” spicy. Both mi xian taste really well not like those that is full of msg and salty, this is mild but makes you feel good after eating and wont “crash” you after meal. Self service - Free flow of pickles and really crispy yellow peas

Came on Saturday night (14 Sep 24). Mainly dishes from Chengdu. The noodle dishes tasted better than the rice dishes. We preferred 羊肉串but they only served 牛肉串and 五花肉串. Tables are tiny, so as to fit more people. Price is about $15 per person.

Tastes like poorly made fast Chinese food that you'd cook yourself. Unless other food stores say no to you adding extra noodle or having no noodle option and you really need any noodle fix with no regard to your wallet and your sanity. Don't even bother to give this store a try. Food is very disappointing. Tried it twice, never coming back.
