One of the best makan place ever. The claypot noodle was seriously comfort food. Really delicious & slurpy.. The char kuew tiau, was really char and superb.. especially with chilli padi! Really one of th best char kuew tiau ever. The chicken rice..the rice itself was already flavourful.... Chilli seem to be self made so it make it really awesome. The chicken was thick and still juicy.. What make the star lesser is due to the youtiau...the sotong youtiau was too crispy, slightly hard and not much of the sotong paste!!! Didn't taste the sotong at all..

First of all, we would like to say thank you to the crew, great tasting food served to us. We reached there 5 mins to 2100hrs, bear in mind the last call for order will be at 9pm although it said to be closed at 1030pm. We’ve always tried their fried fritters (banana, tapioca, sesame red bean, curry puffs, jackfruit etc.) but not their main dishes. Main dishes were spot on as per our taste preferences, typical Chinese style wok hei vibes, from fried rice to their chap chye, chicken with cashew nuts. Their ngoh hiang was great as well. It’s been there for many years for a reason, we had noticed regulars patronising their food place as they greeted each other, small talks here and there, a family oriented place. Paid parking area just diagonally opposite, no hassle. Walking distance only, no sweat. Crew were friendly too.. great work guys!!

First visit and there were plenty of tables during lunch hour. I had the Ipoh Mushroom Horfun ($7.50), which comes with prawns and char siew. My colleague had their chicken rice and does not recommend it as it was not crispy and flavourful.

Whenever I’m craving Malay food, this is my go-to spot. Everything’s pork-free and cooked without lard. They also serve banana fritters that are really nice, crispy on the outside, soft inside, and just the right amount of sweetness. Always hits the spot.

Ordered 10 chicken curry puffs for $18 for takeaway. Saw lots of reviews of this being a traditional puff and wanted to really try it out. Puff is crispy and has a nice taste. Curry is of the spicy variety. Chicken pieces and egg and potato’s. But most of all the chilli spice lingers and stays with you for quite a while. Not bad honestly. It’s a taste I don’t recall having anywhere else.
