Really enjoyable meal! Every dish was a combination of savoury and sweet, with the sweet gradually increasing. Very very yummy! Service is very friendly with good recommendations being made. I didn't want to drink alcohol at lunch so they recommended some sparkling teas to go with my meal, which were lovely. Would probably return again if a future menu catches my eye One tiny feedback would be that sweetness increased quite noticeably in the main course from the previous course. Maybe a slightly more savoury main course would be good.
View on GoogleGood food and service. Quality of ingredients is there, and they definitely put a lot of effort in the ingredients, presentation and tea pairing which comes with dessert. It's an open kitchen so you can see the food being meticulously prepared as well as the ingredients used. They have both bar and table seating and I recommend the bar seating. Pork belly and octopus is the best! They are also open to different people in same dining party ordering different sets which helps give a better variety of taste. Very sociable chef and staff.
View on GoogleA real hidden gem. The chef and his team puts heart and soul in creating beautiful visual, soul and tummy feasts! The service was great, we had a good time and was served well. Good wine pairing recommendations. It's a real hidden gem as it is unexpected to find such fine food in the location. The ambience of the place is quite casual (open public bar counter concept), a bit mid-matched with the fine dining experience but the food is definitely of fine artisan quality!
View on GoogleVisited House on the Moon on the last day of February and ordered the Winter Set Menu. The dishes were fantastic and the addition of the beef cheeks in the tree bark ravioli was quite phenomenal. The desserts were a definite highlight of the menu. Not only were they aesthetically pleasing but they also tasted quite exquisite. The staff were very attentive and explained through each dish. Additionally, the staff were highly accommodating as I accidently booked a lunch session but was able to change to the dinner session and they also took into account the allergies I had. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
View on GoogleThe meal was well presented and creative ingredients. Well priced menu. Very good service. Chef was friendly. Let’s go with how to improve: 1) counter seats aren’t too suitable for group 2) protein was lacking 3) too much processing of ingredient until i didn’t know what I was eating. Dishes can be more authentic. 4) personally I tot desserts can be improved after trying both Black Forest and apple cake Definitely worth a visit esp for 2 to 3 pax
