Saw this restaurant next to the golf area and noticed it had a lot of good reviews, so decided to give it a try. Went for one of the omakase menus and it turned out to be an absolutely amazing experience. The fish was very fresh, and every course had great flavor and balance. You can really tell the quality and attention to detail in each dish. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal and I’d definitely come back again for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend everyone to give it a try!

Opened by friends, for friends. Flexibility in its menu items. You could also request for customisation to suit your taste and palate. I thought that the balance between cooked and non-cooked items were perfect, alternating between premium and not so premium items with ease. Counter seatings only so book in advance.

The omakase experience was truly blissful! Every course, every dish, and every presentation was beautifully executed and clearly explained. The environment was very comfortable, and Chef Ivan Ting was extremely knowledgeable when explaining the dishes. He also answered all our questions very well. The chutoro was the best I’ve ever tasted! It was so similar to otoro that I was shocked when the chef said it was chutoro. He explained that this texture can only be achieved with a high-quality tuna weighing at least 80kg. I really learned a lot from this dining experience. Even the uni and monkfish liver were excellent. I’m usually not a uni person, but this was incredibly fresh and delicious. All the other sashimi and even the grilled Gindara was yummy delicious. The dessert was also amazing — it was my first time tasting warabi mochi served warm, and it was absolutely delicious. Instead of the usual green tea, mugicha (roasted barley tea) was served. Its fragrant aroma and smooth taste made it incredibly enjoyable, and I found myself refilling my cup repeatedly. Being caffeine-free was an added bonus. My sister-in-law ordered the saba fish lunch set, which was boneless and beautifully cooked, remaining juicy and flavourful. Considering the quality of ingredients, craftsmanship, and overall experience, the pricing was very reasonable. If I return to Singapore in the future, I will certainly visit again. Highly recommended.
