A Singapore Dim Sum Classic! 🥟🇸🇬 Swee Choon is truly a household name in Singapore and has been serving delicious dim sum for years! ❤️ What keeps me coming back is their consistency. The food is always freshly prepared, well cooked and satisfying. From Har Gao 🦐 and fluffy buns to crispy fried favourites and silky Cheong Fun, there’s something for everyone. The ingredients taste fresh, portions are good, and the kitchen clearly knows what they’re doing. 👍 Service is another plus — friendly, efficient and welcoming even when they’re busy. Good food, good service and consistently reliable dim sum! 🥟❤️
View on GoogleAt Swee Choon Tim Sum Restaurant, we enjoyed a generous spread of comforting dim sum dishes that showcased both traditional flavours and satisfying textures. The mee suah kueh stood out with its crispy golden exterior and soft, savoury interior, offering a delightful contrast in every bite. The glutinous rice with chicken was fragrant and hearty, with well-seasoned chicken pieces tucked inside sticky rice that absorbed all the rich flavours. The yam fritter added a pleasant crunch, lightly crisp on the outside while remaining soft and flavourful within. Equally enjoyable was the beancurd prawn roll, which was savoury and slightly juicy, with the beancurd skin providing a delicate crispness. For dessert, the black sesame ball delivered a chewy texture and a rich, nutty filling that was not overly sweet. To round off the meal, the water chestnut drink was refreshing and lightly sweet, helping to balance the richness of the dishes. Altogether, it was a satisfying and well-rounded dining experience perfect for sharing.
View on GoogleFood had a wide variety but menu had items that were supposed to be served at 11am onwards which were not available. Other than that food was good and and flavorful. There was an outdoor and indoor area. Sat outdoors as the queue was quicker but i would advise waiting for the indoor sitting. The parking was limited so you probably want to find nearby parking instead.
View on GoogleVisited around 9am on a weekday and place is largely empty. Delighted to see a chef working on the dim sum live , to know that it is freshly made. Ordered the usual dim sum and it taste great - much better than getting food delivery. Will be here again !
View on GoogleCame in just when they opened at 7am. Very convenient way of ordering by scanning the QR they have on the table. Ordered the Minced Pork and Century Egg Porridge for $4.30 - this was so good. Was looking for this exact taste, same as what I had in HK. Decent amount of pork and century egg. Also got their Siew Mai for about $1.20 and was pleasantly surprised how packed it was on the inside. Got their HK Milk Tea as well and it was as authentic as it gets. Will drop by again before I fly out.
