Being a card carrying certified carnivor, I surprised even myself for actually enjoying a vegetable curry naan. It was really really nice! I will head back there in a heartbeat if anyone is asking. Looking forward to exploring the rest of their menu.

If you crave for bangladeshi cuisine in singapore, mohammadi restaurant in the lembu road, little india is at your rescue. You will find beef, mutton, duck, chicken curry with rice, naan, khichuri tehari items. You will also find fishes cooked like desi ways here. Their cooking is really fantastic. Their environment needs to be far better. Poor cleanliness and management is severely noticed often. But the stuffs are helpful.

👍 What’s Good: Savory, authentic Bangladeshi/Pakistani flavors – Customers frequently praise dishes like mutton biryani, vegetable curry, naan, mutton curry, and butter naan. One reviewer said: “Being a card-carrying certified carnivore, I surprised even myself for actually enjoying a vegetable curry naan” . Reasonable prices & generous portions – Multiple reviews note affordable pricing and value-for-money, especially near Mustafa/Little India area . Friendly and welcoming service – Staff are generally described as helpful and welcoming . 👎 Issues to Address: Hygiene concerns – There have been occasional observations of cockroaches crawling on tables, which significantly impacts diners’ comfort. Need for better pest control – As one reported sighting can spoil the dining experience, scheduling regular pesticide treatments and improving cleaning routines would help. 💡 Suggestions for Management: 1. Engage a certified pest control operator for regular monthly treatments. 2. Increase frequency of deep cleaning, especially under tables, corners, and food preparation areas. 3. Train staff in immediate response to sightings—such as clearing and sanitizing the table, and offering sincere apologies to maintain trust. --- Final Thoughts If you enjoy flavorful, authentic South Asian cuisine at low prices, Mohammadi is worth a visit—especially for takeaway. However, until their cleanliness improves, caution is advised when dining in.

Finding Bengali food around Singapore might be hard but if you are around Mustafa center they serve good food. I would suggest you to try.

You cannot go to Little India without trying their Pani puri I hope I’m reviewing the correct place It was sort of a stall next to the main restaurant, many people around waiting for their food 😋 Worth the wait!!
