Went there for lunch with my friends today (20/03/2026). The ambience was truly remarkable. Makde you feel so comfortable and very soothing. The food was truly delicious. I am a person who does not like fruits as a dish with rice but the jackfruit was cooked so marvelously that I was wondering whether it really was a fruit. Ended the meal with a dessert. It was simply nice. Not too sweet. Give it a try and I promise you wont be disappointed.

Very cosy atmosphere in a colonial setting. The service is friendly and professional. The food reminded us of our trip to Sri Lanka especially the Vegan Mutton Kothu. The signature curry leaf coconut rice worth a try because of the different mini dishes that accompanied the fragrant rice.

We ordered just one dish to share and the bill came to $48.50. To make matters worse, the actual price charged was almost double what was advertised on the website, which felt misleading and left a very bad impression. The service was virtually non-existent. Staff showed little interest in attending to customers, and we felt largely ignored throughout our visit. The restaurant itself also left a poor impression. The windows were filled with cobwebs, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness and attention to detail. Presentation of the food was miserable and looked like an afterthought. Unfortunately, the taste didn’t make up for it either. The food was mediocre at best and certainly not worth the premium price. Overall, this was poor value for money. First visit, and definitely our last. There are many other places offering better food, better service, and a more honest dining experience.

We had the loveliest time at Kunthaville in Singapore. The space alone is worth visiting — it’s styled like a stunning tea room, with thoughtful details and the most beautiful decor. It feels elegant yet warm and inviting, the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable in. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was packed with flavour and felt true to Sri Lankan roots. Our mom makes incredible Sri Lankan food and even she really enjoyed the food here, it was so good, felt home cooked! You can tell there’s real care behind the food — everything tasted authentic and beautifully balanced. What made it even more special was the hospitality. The owner took the time to chat with us, learn a bit about our preferences, and guide us toward some of the most loved dishes on the menu. We were dining with two infants, and she was so gracious and accommodating, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and easy. Such a special spot with incredible food and heartfelt service. We left already talking about when we could come back.

Kunthaville is a wonderful Sri Lankan gem nestled in the heart of Little India. The moment you step in, you’re greeted with a warm, homely atmosphere and the comforting aromas of authentic Sri Lankan spices. The food is truly the highlight.. rich, flavourful, and deeply traditional, showcasing the best of Sri Lanka’s culinary heritage. From aromatic curries to perfectly cooked hoppers and vibrant sambols, every dish feels thoughtfully crafted and full of character. The service is friendly, genuine, and attentive, creating a dining experience that feels both welcoming and memorable. Whether you’re familiar with Sri Lankan cuisine or exploring it for the first time, Kunthaville offers a beautiful introduction filled with bold flavours and hearty portions. A fantastic spot in Little India for anyone craving something unique, authentic, and incredibly satisfying. Highly recommended for flavour lovers!
