⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food Quality Needs Major Improvement I visited Kumar Mess for dinner with my friends today. Overall, the dining atmosphere was very good, and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. The service staff were also very kind, polite, and friendly, which we really appreciated. However, unfortunately, the food quality was very, very disappointing. The taste and overall quality of the dishes were far below our expectations. All of my friends were disappointed with the food, especially considering the price we paid. We spent $60.30 for 3 people, which I feel is quite expensive for the quality and portion we received. We expected much better food quality from a place like this. Good ambience, cleanliness, and friendly service are important, but food quality and value for money are equally important for a restaurant. I hope the management will take this feedback seriously and improve the taste, freshness, quality, and pricing/value of the food. I would be happy to visit again if the food quality improves, but based on today’s experience, my friends and I were very disappointed. Had a wonderful dining experience at Kumar Mess! The fish meals were absolutely delicious and tasted just like authentic Madurai-style food from India. Every dish was flavourful, homely, and cooked to perfection. The fish curry, side dishes, and fried fish were especially outstanding. A special mention to Mr. Selvam, who was incredibly kind, generous, and attentive in serving us. His warm hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable and welcoming. The portions were generous, our stomachs were full, and most importantly, our hearts were happy too. ❤️ The food brought back memories of traditional South Indian home-cooked meals. We enjoyed it so much that we came back again this week to bring our mum along as well! 😊 Happy faces, happy hearts, and happy stomachs. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Madurai-style fish meals and genuine hospitality in Singapore! 🐟🍛✨

One of the best Indian restaurants in Little India! The biryani is outstanding, the fish curry is rich and flavorful, and the idli is incredibly soft and fresh. The chilli chicken is perfectly cooked, and the chilli parotta is simply delicious. What makes this place truly special is the service. Mr. Guna serves every customer with the warmth and care of a mother serving food at home. He remembers regular customers and understands their preferences and needs, making everyone feel welcomed and valued. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic South Indian food with exceptional hospitality!

After a long trip craving for a proper South Indian food. I was quite amazed by the taste of food, but more importantly the service of the staff. I tried various food outlets, but this will stand out to be the best so far I had in Singapore. If your ever planning a visit to Little India, try their food and their seafood curry range. You will not regret.
