Highly underrated gem of a dim sum place. Everything we ordered was spot on! Even comparable or even better than the famous competitor starting with S. the baked custard buns were particularly tasty and deserves a shout out. Service was prompt and unintrusive. Price reasonable.

We came with high expectations after reading so many glowing reviews, but overall, it felt like a bit of a letdown. We started with the Century Egg Porridge, which was surprisingly salty — and that’s coming from someone with a salty palate. The Beancurd Prawn Roll was delightfully crispy and not quite the usual style, which we actually liked for its texture — just a tad too salty. The Har Gow was a highlight — thin skin and a good bite. The Siew Mai, while generously filled with prawns, lacked flavour. Char Siew Bao was decent, though the filling missed that signature smoky, caramelised edge. The Steamed Rice Roll with Shrimp had an acceptable taste and texture, but visually it arrived clumped and messy — a dish that usually demands finesse. A little more care would have made a big difference. (Upon leaving I looked at the tables around me and theirs looked fine, guess it was just our order then.) The standout for us was the Crispy Mee Sua Kueh with Chinese Sausage — highly recommend giving this a try. If you’re in the area, it’s worth checking out. Otherwise, there are a few other similarly priced dim sum spots nearby that might offer better overall execution. Parking is a pain, we ended up at Mayo Street and walked over. MRT though is just across the street. We arrived at 2:15 PM and the place was about three-quarters full — clearly still a popular choice for many.

We ordered the set for 3 pax which came with 12 of their specials. The portions werea decent size and could easily be shared by four. We enjoyed the food but it was a little too much for 3 persons. Missed out the photo of the glutinous rice wrapped in lotus leaf.

It was a random pick to try out their dim sum and it turned out to be a surprise as the food is better than many of the dim sum restaurants in downtown area! I ordered a sample set for 3 paxs which comes with their signature items and they are delicious! The total bill was $90+ for 4 paxs and food portion is sufficient.
