You might mistaken Barakath for just another Indian food place, but, well, you’d be making a mistake. The food is delicious, and akin to what you’d find in a typical Indian home. Delicacies like salted fish curry and quail egg curry. Not to mention the service is homely too, with the famous Mr Mashuthoo and team, you’d really be mistaken not to eat here.

Great food. Really enjoyed the mutton ribs and quails eggs especially when I had lunch on 25 August 2021. Great friendly service. Worth repeat visits.

Home style cooked food with different menus for each day. It's a well known 'secret' for the people who work or live in the area. Vegetarian or non vegetarian is available and it is Halal too.

Obviously beloved by locals, and filled with people even at irregular eating hours. I knew it was good when my Indian friends all recommended this place, and my suspicions were confirmed when I had the first taste of their Biryani. They have specials for everyday of the week - ie you better come everyday!
