Amazing experience at That 1 Place in Bugis! The food was absolutely delicious - well-presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. They offer both comfortable indoor dining and a lovely outdoor seating area, which makes the place perfect for any mood, whether you want a cozy meal or a relaxed evening outside. A special mention to John, the owner - he is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed talking with him; you can truly feel his passion for the restaurant and for making guests feel at home. Also, Joya, the server, was outstanding- polite, attentive, and always smiling. Her service made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended if you’re in Bugis and looking for great food, great vibes, and amazing people. Will definitely visit again!
View on GoogleWe had an absolutely delightful time indulging in the sumptuous food here! What truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service and warmth of Miss Zoya. Her attention to detail is remarkable — she remembered our preferences from our last visit a couple of weeks ago and surprised us with them today. The complimentary drinks were such a thoughtful touch. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality — we’ll definitely be back for more! IG: a_table_abroad

View on GoogleCame as a party of 4 at 5.10pm on a quiet Sunday evening. One other group of 3 persons arrived at the same time. Server informed us that the starters of Hummus and Onion Rings might take 7 to 10 mins - those eventually got served after 15+ minutes. Our halloumi "salad" was served around 20+ minutes after our order was taken, which wasn't that bad if it was an actual salad. It was more of a few slices of grilled halloumi on a bed of wilted scraps of salad greens. The Alinazik was served with the grilled halloumi, which was decent, but as with everything else, the food were all served at a weird temperature. It wasn't cold, nor hot, not room temperature. Hummus was slightly chilled around 20 degrees, and the warm dishes were slightly warm around 45 degrees. Everything tasted fine but the temperature was off. The only thing slightly hot was the fries that followed the Fish & Chips which came roughly half an hour after our order was taken.... and that was the only main course that got here within an hour. From being seated, having our order taken, to finally seeing a plate of almost room temperature prawns and a borderline medium-well to chewy patty burger took exactly 1 hour. When the server asked how the food was, I replied it was alright but the wait was long, and the reply was just dishonest. She said they were busy because there were lots of tables, to which I pointed out there were only 7 customers including my group of 4. And she mentioned the other table ordered a lot of food.... which might have been true if they were actually served any. The only main on their table was a lamb shank shared among 3 persons. We were not in a rush and would wait for decent food, but wait ended up in disappointment when we saw what we waited so patiently for. Outdoor seating would have better vibes if we werent eating from a shaky folding picnic table with a table cloth and some uncomfortable plastic chair. Prices would have been exhorbitant and terrible value for money if not for a 50% discount from Eatigo, but the portions felt like they might have been reduced by 50% too for sone of the dishes. I cant imagine paying food price for the food from here and would only wonder how long the wait would be if they had 20 diners instead of 7 for dinner.
View on GoogleLOVE the atmosphere here it feels very cosy and warm especially with the moody lighting! Staff is very friendly, and the food tasted great! The Caesar salad was a little too salty for me but it was still good. Very nice place to chill and talk with your friends since the waiting time is a bit long. Worth it for the freshly made food though, wedges were heaven sent 🙏
