Authentic Sichuan food - as good as you get in Chengdu or Chongqing. The restaurant along Beach Road is charming with a small outdoor seating area out the front & 1 private room (seating 8 to 10) at the back. Nicely decorated & air conditioning sufficient - be ready for a fiery baptism of sichuan spice & pepper. The manager Zoe is friendly & helpful. Dishes could be adjusted (less oily or spicy or pepper) - we opted to go for the authentic original taste with less oil. The service was excellent - dishes arrived at a nice pace & readily cleared so we always had sufficient space on the table. We ordered a variety of cold appetisers & warm dishes & we enjoyed all of them. Standout was the “Suan Cai” fish, Stir fried eels, beef with pepper & garlic prawns. It was a culinary journey of hot, spicy, numbing without being overwhelming. We brought our own red wine ($15 corkage) which paired well & surprisingly was a perfect balance to the food. Dessert (pumpkin cake) was also delicious. Overall - a top notch experience & reservations recommended as the restaurant is not very big. Highly recommend!
View on GoogleWithout a doubt, the best Sichuan restaurant in Singapore. Every dish we ordered was incredibly fresh, and you can immediately tell they use high-quality ingredients. The flavors were bold, authentic, and perfectly balanced, delivering the true taste of Sichuan cuisine with that signature málà (numbing and spicy) kick. What impressed me most was how authentic everything tasted. It reminded me of the excellent Sichuan food I've had in China rather than a toned-down version. If you're looking for genuine Sichuan cuisine, this is the place to go. The food, quality, and consistency are outstanding. I've tried many Sichuan restaurants in Singapore, and Sichuan Tianfu Restaurant is my favorite. Highly recommended—I will definitely be back!
View on GoogleThe atmosphere was nice, but it was quite warm. The staff mentioned that the air-conditioning was not working properly. It would be great if it could be repaired, as my friend felt hot throughout the meal. The food was generally good. The portions were not very large, but the quality was good. The service was good, and the staff responded promptly whenever we needed assistance.
View on GoogleA satisfying meal with plenty of comforting Sichuan flavors. I appreciated the attentive and pleasant manager, and the dishes I tried felt well worth ordering, especially if you like bold, hearty food. It’s also nice that you can ask for less salt, oil, or spice to suit your taste. A solid spot on Beach Road when you’re craving something warming.
View on GoogleService by the lady manager absolutely top-notch. She advised us to stay at our table as it was raining very hard when we tried to leave the restaurant. Also personally gave directions to the nearest 7-11. So kind. Sorry we didn’t get her name! We had the Ceylon spinach, fried eel, and tofu with century egg. Everything was delicious and even the rice was great. Love that she immediately offered less oily, salty when I asked for less spicy. HPB doing a good job 😂 We would come back, thanks for a great dinner!
